level 1, 1-4 points. Likely caused by a lapse of concentration.

This may be the result of carrying to much speed into a corner or braking to late, causing moderate o major contact.
An unsafe re entry also falls here.(6 points cannot be halved for concession.

usquebaugh, gaelic for "the water of life" and the origins for the word whiskey. Over time it was shortened to "usque" which then became whiskey. Took me quite a number of years top start enjoying whiskey and scotch. I have found though, that I follow in my grandmothers footsteps, as I enjoy the slightly cheaper stuff better, in both my whiskey (jameson, or red stag), wine (what she called the squeezin, MD 20/20, boons farm, cheap and sweet) and smoke (black & milds and flavored pipe tobacco).
This however, does not hold true to me with beer, and my more green smoke. Both of which I prefer as strong and flavorful as possible. And that comes with a price tag. The cheapest beet I get is Guinness. That is my budweiser. I'd prefer sobriety over most high volume north american beers. Even the canadian ones.

Btw, nice little dragon collection you got going, my wife and I are collectors as well, both in. art, statues and books. We visit mackinaw a few times a year, and there is a really awesome fantasy store up there that we can't help up purchase something from.
Hmmm, 10 am on a sunday? Heres one for your son! Cheers!

Thanks all.

Boy still isn't here yet. They hittin' Mom with an epidural and pitocin. I told them to just rub some whisky on Mom's belly and the boy would be right out. They didn't listen, I suspect. The medical professionals might be a little narrow minded in that respect.

We're all kinda on baby watch here. Hope that kid gets here well before 9:30 tonight.

Heading in to D1 for some practice in a bit.

It would appear my son is about to be a father. Will know more in the morning I expect. Ya'll have a drink and toke and think of my boy's boy, if you would.

Awesome stuff dragon 👍 Wishing them well!

Will you be sober enough come race time ;)

:D I can. I will, if necessary. Been off the race grids for almost 3 weeks though. SNAIL will be here next week however.

Should the boy get here and give me time to manage to get on the grid tonight, I cannot vouch for my sobriety at all. ;)

Still getting pics of my rig up so I can post them here. Haven't made it to D1 yet. I have a feeling you all will not be that impressed though. 'Tisn't as if we built a "cockpit".

Hey S.N.A.I.L.s,

Having some issues with Exceeded Message Limits :(

Can,

djones
z06fun
soundtiger95

clear some space please?

Thanks!

Hey Everyone. Sorry I've been MIA for a while, we've been busy busy busy.

There is a slight chance that I might be able to race tonight, but I don't have the Alfa and I'll be out and about most of the day, can someone please send it to me?

Also wanted to wish everyone luck in this seasons GranStand challenge, and remind everybody SNAILs get 10% discount and *just announced* members of Team SNAIL get 15% off, so help out with the league and save some money.

Good stuff Bill, hope you can make it 👍

The Alfa can't be gifted, but the borrow glitch works well. I'll put it on share.

Take advantage of the discount S.N.A.I.L.s :)

I put a fully broken in Alpha on Share - if anyone needs it.

I might be able to race tonight, my Internet has been acting weird this past week, when I raced last night in SPEC I couldn't see one of the racers. I'll try to race but if anyone says that I'm bouncing around the track, please tell me.

I will be racing tonight. I plan to miss my own funeral for SNAIL Sunday night racing. :)

I also have the Calsonic GTR fully broken in with 2XX miles on it sitting on my side PS3's

So if anyone needs one i can send maximum three today.

FYI, I hope to be on time for the start of round one, but if my sons baseball team keeps winning their games, I may be jumping in after the start or not show at all. Go luck to all in D2.

So I have an absolutely crazy idea for an endurance event which involves complete opposites. You only get one pit stop for this race. The tyres that will be used racing hards and comfort hards. This race will teach people to have car control. It will also have a lot of strategy and whether or not you want to start on the comforts for the first half of the race, or start of the hards and risk being caught at the end when your on the comforts.

Let me know what you think, I personally think it would be a lot of fun.

Sounds interesting dz. What car would we use?
Are all of the gtr's the same? My Nismo seems really loose and slow. Actually, that sounds more like me.

I will not be racing tonight and possibly won't be for awhile. My health has taken another turn for the worse and I just haven't been feeling it.

Monster Wolfsatzesque pictorial post below

And thanks Wolf. Gran-DaddyWhisky has a nice ring to it! But, he will not be my first grand child. Got a couple other grandsons ages 8 and 6. It is, however, my son's first child. Can't wait for that boy to get old enough to do what the other two have as shown below.

Some folks have been interested in seeing the mods Owens and I have made to my Wheel Stand Pro. Here they are.

Almost 3 Christmases ago I started playing GT5 this way. About 10'-12' away from the 42" TV. Yes, I play GT5 with gloves on. Can't stand how gummy the wheel gets when I play barehanded. Those are my summer motorcycle gloves.

Now, I play GT5 this way.

Below are some pictures showing parts of the path to get here.

G27 MkI beside the old DFGT Rig

A few weeks into using the G27 I decided to bring my office chair downstairs and get the wheel stand as close to the TV as I could. Still using stock wheel stand.

After a couple weeks I decided I wanted to raise the stand higher because my chair only went so low and the TV was a bit higher than I liked. Plus, I found during heavy counter steering moments this stand would tip sideways. Thus was born the G27 MkII with ghetto mods.

The above picture was taken when I was trying to use a phone app to get Owens some dimensions for building the mods detailed below.

Owens had the main stand mods already cut and this shot is just before he started cutting the shifter arm mount.

He got the shifter arm pieces cut and the next afternoon we adjusted some of the pieces he'd already cut after a fine night drinking 18 year old whisky. I loaded everything back up, I'd taken wheel and stand up there, so we could make sure everything fit, and hauled it home.

Here's a couple with all the pieces laid out and ready for pre-paint assembly and testing.

Here it is, still pre-paint and stowed away.

Decided to add some mods of my own to this masterpiece of Hoosier ingenuity;

A pin to help keep the shifter arm from rotating while gear jammin',

And a "shelf" to set the DS3 on.

Got all that stuff fine tuned and continued testing.

Thought about what colors I wanted to paint these mods and settled on finding, as close as I could, the colors I use for SNAIL. Bought these;

One can of primer wasn't nearly enough so headed to wally world for 2 more. It turned out 3 cans of the blue weren't nearly enough, so I ended up ordering 5 more from Amazon. Shoulda ordered 6 or 7. One can died completely after about 30 seconds of spray.

Here's all the pieces, disassembled and ready to go to paint.

Jump forward more than a week and now we have this;

While I was waiting for those 5 cans of paint to arrive I "horse traded" an eight foot couch and a chair for a five foot "love seat" and my computer desk. Here's some pics of the progress of making this area in my basement and official "Man Cave" Still haven't got the sign Owens made me ready to mount but it will be going up somewhere in this room.

Computer in it's upstairs location and basement, pre-trade.

So there it is, for anyone who was curious. I'm probably gonna have to buy another can or two of the blue and a few cans of clear coat to seal everything off. It seems the paint department didn't do something right and color coats are flaking off in various places. It appears a hard look is all it takes in some spots for the color to jump right off the primer.

PS. I have a lot more pictures of all this, than I've posted here. It took quite a bit of time to "edit" this all. I apologize to any who might be inconvenienced or offended by the plethora of pics in this post.

I'm down for this, it's a really interesting concept.
