D1 appears to have missed the boat. Scoring has been moved to the Results sheet and all data specialists are cleared hot to enter the timing data. Suggest you write the total times somewhere else, delete from the results sheet, enter best laps and gaps and put the total times back in, to keep down the page meltdowns that will occur if the total time values are left in. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THE TOTAL TIME VALUES TO SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE RESULTS DOC/FILE. That will only mess up the formulas that do all the calculating. Trust me, I tried that last week and spend several minutes trying to figure out what I'd done and fix it.

If anyone in D1 has the pole and finishing positions, please pm me that data and I will get it entered. Thank you.

Omg...

Someone please tell these guys the difference between a Spec league and a handicap league?

If you want an equal chance of winning...then you want handicap racing.

If you want equally full grids of drivers with talent levels that are deemed as close to yours as can possibly be determined through empirical data...yet all using the exact same vehicles...then you have Snail spec racing.

I dont think i had one person complain when I pulled away in races they all enjoyed chasing me as it made alot of the faster and better drivers

In June I got 18 podiums, 5 wins, 4 seconds and 9 thirds with an average finish of 3.17.👍
In all the time I've been in SNAIL, I have never had such a season and I got promoted 2 divisions!

Last night I didn't do so well, I finished last nearly every race, though I made many mistakes I had a good time and learned I have room for improvement!

Youll get there @chatva i have faith in you even though 98.9% of the time you give me crap i still enjoyed doorhandle to doorhandle with you especially at Fugi with our .069 gap

Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @kadrek wins Prize A, they get to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - RE Amemiya RX7 GT300 Base Model '06 (Race Hard tires) at Trial Mountain Circuit - Forward (7 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @JJLopez427 gets Prize B, he has the option to "freeze" the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the "freeze" away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @nmcp1 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your car and/or track selection until all racing complaints are filed and you are given the "all clear" to announce your selection. It's also important that you review our Car/Track History so that you can see a complete history of how many times we've raced each car and track (just scroll to the right of that tab). Please remember that originality is always appreciated. Therefore, picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). Most importanty, make sure you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, the car should not hit its rev limiter at any point during the race (even in the draft).

Car Selection Guidelines
Dealership Cars - The maximum price for a selected car is now $1,000,000
DLC Cars - Only DLC cars that are FREE and currently still available in the PlayStation Store can be selected.

Track Selection Guidelines
Any non-DLC track can be selected as long as a single lap with the car combo'd with it would not take more than five minutes to complete. For example, don't select anything that includes the Nurburgring's Nordschleife.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting.

Here's your official S.N.A.I.L. Welcome Post!​

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. Send a PSN friend request to the Race Director or Primary Host from your assigned SNAIL Division. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

-Division 3 Race Report-​

Well, I thought last night was great for some but not for others. One thing I know for sure, they will all be back next Sunday. I think all of us had some really close racing with others during the night. In the past two weeks since coming back and hosting, I've seen some really good racing watching the replays. Some of us had some mistakes but we're human. OOPS! Learn and move on. I think as we race with each other, we learn how each other races and then know how to respond to them. That's why I think you need to stick it out in whatever division you are place. Example: I finished, almost last, two Sundays ago but last night finished fourth. I think we here in D3, for the time being away, will not win a prize choice because of the close competition but that's a good thing. I think D3 would take close racing over a prize. Great job everyone👍​

I also want to thank everyone for your cooperation last night. It moves along better. Thanks to @Schmiggz for taking care of the scoring/votes, @turnupdaheat for taking care of uploading the replays and @Grandpa Money for the data entry. I love teamwork.
On a side note, I want to welcome back @AJKVail. I think he had a good experience, his first night back and I hope he decides to make it permanent, for now anyway! I think everyone feels the same way​
