Before you officially quit, I think you and I should talk about things first. You are fast fast enough for Division 1 and we all know it. There are a bad habit we need to break you from and a couple of minor things about your driving & racing just needs a little refinement. That's all, honest. I'm willing to work with you on them, if you are willing to re-learn what you "think" you already know. Rally racing is not the same as grip, or even drift, they are completely different disciplines and require a different approach to driving, which you have down - for the most part. You like 95% ready to go, just need to teach you the last 5%. You are so close!
Look man, bottom line is no one here denies how fast you are. I watched your races from this past Sunday, and I seen incredible decisions in racing - VERY IMPRESSIVE!! Are you really going to just turn away from learning something different that will potentially improve you as a driver? It's your choice, but I hate to see you give up simply because of 2 bad weeks. If you give me an honest 2 weeks, I can give you that last 5%. If by the end of the 2 weeks, you still feel SNAIL is not for you, I'll respect decision. I don't make this offer to everyone, so what do you say?
Walking through the crowded parking lot, Diabolic notices several large heaps covered with canvas. Leading up to each were lines of people, patiently waiting their turns. He pulls side a local...
"What's going on here?"
"We're kicking 'em!"
"What are they?"
"Dead horses."
(Looks at nearest heap)
"Dead horses...really? If they're dead, why are you kicking them?"
"Well....I mean......
you know...we gotta make sure."
(Diabolic heads to nearest heap and gives it a swift kick)
"See, what I mean? We have to be absolutely sure. At any moment they may spring to life and trample us. Very dangerous, these beasts."
"Uh huh...I see.... "
(Diabolic turns and head out of the lot)
A split second later Rusty, a horse 42 years dead, springs to life, whooping and bucking his way around the lot. Diabolic, now a ways from the afair, noted it with a gentle "hmmph" and continued on mumbling quietly to himself, "Ok..but I still don't get it."
Prize A Selection:
Car: The Lotus Evora `09 (RH tires)
Track: Cote D' Azur
I am choosing the track to: Autumn Ring Reverse.
Last time we visited this track, people said the S2000 was slippery and sliding around, hard to control. Well with the RM tires, it should stick very well.
In the d1 lounge if anyone wants to put down some laps.
Good evening all... Working on getting my collective manure in one sock tonight and wondered what kind of disadvantages I am dealing with. I am currently using the controller with A/T and is it like bringing a wet noodle to a gun fight? I am working with the S2000 tonight (Deep Forest Rev) and have managed to shave almost 1.5 min off my lap times and I think I may be able to knock another .5 off before I am done. Just hoping that there is some encouraging news that the controller isn't such a big deal. I know I have a lot of work to do on my technique and hope to have a wheel in the future but in the mean time I want to be able to at least show a wheel from time to time!

Nope, one dude made it to Orlando Florida with a controller.
However you really need to use Manual.
Gotta room open to practice some drift. Come on through if your up. moved to the d3 room
does anyone have a bunch of different matte paint cards?
Cheeb, I'm looking for everything in particular. I want to run matte only cars for some reason, so I want to gather as many as I can and start duping them. Ive got about 8 or 9 varieties right now.
Thanks Cheeb. what about the ones you dont have doubles of, wanna dupe those?
