Unless you're deviating from the regular schedule, it's Central DAYLIGHT Time.

Don't make me get my horse beatin' stick.

Oh no! Here we go again! LOL!

Before you officially quit, I think you and I should talk about things first. You are fast fast enough for Division 1 and we all know it. There are a bad habit we need to break you from and a couple of minor things about your driving & racing just needs a little refinement. That's all, honest. I'm willing to work with you on them, if you are willing to re-learn what you "think" you already know. Rally racing is not the same as grip, or even drift, they are completely different disciplines and require a different approach to driving, which you have down - for the most part. You like 95% ready to go, just need to teach you the last 5%. You are so close!

Look man, bottom line is no one here denies how fast you are. I watched your races from this past Sunday, and I seen incredible decisions in racing - VERY IMPRESSIVE!! Are you really going to just turn away from learning something different that will potentially improve you as a driver? It's your choice, but I hate to see you give up simply because of 2 bad weeks. If you give me an honest 2 weeks, I can give you that last 5%. If by the end of the 2 weeks, you still feel SNAIL is not for you, I'll respect decision. I don't make this offer to everyone, so what do you say?

Sure I guess... I'll give it a shot. Just tell me when and where. I'll try once more to become a Gundam!! Lol

Walking through the crowded parking lot, Diabolic notices several large heaps covered with canvas. Leading up to each were lines of people, patiently waiting their turns. He pulls side a local...

"What's going on here?"

"We're kicking 'em!"

"What are they?"

"Dead horses."

(Looks at nearest heap)
"Dead horses...really? If they're dead, why are you kicking them?"

"Well....I mean......
you know...we gotta make sure."

(Diabolic heads to nearest heap and gives it a swift kick)

"See, what I mean? We have to be absolutely sure. At any moment they may spring to life and trample us. Very dangerous, these beasts."

"Uh huh...I see.... "

(Diabolic turns and head out of the lot)
A split second later Rusty, a horse 42 years dead, springs to life, whooping and bucking his way around the lot. Diabolic, now a ways from the afair, noted it with a gentle "hmmph" and continued on mumbling quietly to himself, "Ok..but I still don't get it."

A chance to post again my horse kicking yarn...heck yeah!

Prize A Selection:
Car: The Lotus Evora `09 (RH tires)
Track: Cote D' Azur

I am choosing the track to: Autumn Ring Reverse.

Last time we visited this track, people said the S2000 was slippery and sliding around, hard to control. Well with the RM tires, it should stick very well.

I'm glad that these seem like fun combos.. cuz we're stuck with them for the next week and a half!

Anyways, I've updated the line-up with the Prize A and Prize B selections. Pardon the construction, I'm experimenting..

Baah, I wish, I was just on piddling about while the fiancee was doing some homework. Alas, she is done, and I must go.

I'm usually not able to get on Wed nights, but I have some time tonight. I just wanted to let all the Snails know that I am currently running a track day at Monza in a public server. I would like to keep it mainly to road legal, but anything other than the X1 is ok.

Room Number: CLOSED

I plan on running this till around midnight and will update when the lobby is closed.

Good evening all... Working on getting my collective manure in one sock tonight and wondered what kind of disadvantages I am dealing with. I am currently using the controller with A/T and is it like bringing a wet noodle to a gun fight? I am working with the S2000 tonight (Deep Forest Rev) and have managed to shave almost 1.5 min off my lap times and I think I may be able to knock another .5 off before I am done. Just hoping that there is some encouraging news that the controller isn't such a big deal. I know I have a lot of work to do on my technique and hope to have a wheel in the future but in the mean time I want to be able to at least show a wheel from time to time!

Nope, one dude made it to Orlando Florida with a controller.
However you really need to use Manual.

Right on... Thanks for your input. I am working with manual but still not very good with it. I am sure if I had a wheel/pedal/shifter set up it would come more natural to me. I used to race dirt bikes and my shift-sense is hard wired a certain way and have had slow results trying to equate what I know to a game controller... But I am working on it. (old dog/new tricks!)

That was the reward for waking up early to fix my jeep. The A/C compressor and the fan pulley both went out over the weekend. Spent hell trying to find a new a/c mount/fan pulley. Turns out they dont make them anymore, so I had to hit up a pick and pull. got that done, thats when I found out the a/c bearings are poo too. got a bypass pulley for it for now. installed that this morning.

Cheeb, I'm looking for everything in particular. I want to run matte only cars for some reason, so I want to gather as many as I can and start duping them. Ive got about 8 or 9 varieties right now.

I'll have a look tonight and let you know which ones I have doubles of.

Anyway, its not much of a reward right now. Its kinda frustrating. Thanks Cheeb. what about the ones you dont have doubles of, wanna dupe those?
