It's ok. You are much faster than me on track, and on forum.

Do you have any idea how many times I hit refresh in the last 15 minutes?

Game on tomorrow night when I get home from work. Obviously I'll need some help. Good night guys.

Go car 123 go!

Why did the SNAIL paint an "S" on his car?

Beats me. I don't know where they are tracking fast lap per driver.

Hitting the rack. Night all.

It's ok, I need the help.

I actually have no interest in the PS4 until GT7 is released, but I'm sure my son would enjoy playing COD on the new system.

Your turn @Handlebar.

Handlebar, handlebar, handlebar....

Ok, kcheeb?

PS4 is def worth having. :)

However the really good games are yet to be released. :/

Well I just bought a USB headset for my PS3 and the thing doesn't work. I can hear chat audio through it but can't get the mic to pick up in the PS3 config menu. I guess I'll just have to buy a bluetooth one? I was trying to avoid anything I'd have to charge and a lot of the bluetooth headsets I've seen are either too uncomfortable looking, or really expensive with emphasis on output audio quality (I listen to gameplay audio through speakers).

Does anyone use an over the head bluetooth headset that's pretty cheap ($50 or less)?

I'm happy with the cheap Sony one,( simulated 7.1!!). But it is usb

Nooooooooooo.

Ok, will do this again tomorrow night. :ouch:

Doh! I feel your pain, Joe. That's happened to me plenty of times. Here's a tip though.. It doesn't count as a double post if the second post is on a different page. :sly: Also, GTP12 only makes you wait 5 seconds between posts instead of 20 (or was it 30?) seconds. Both of these things make winning the game a lot easier. :)

Just caught some of the live video from the 24h and they were talking about the GT Academy program. Sounded like they plan on expanding to less typical markets. Markets where motorsports are as popular to try to increase interest. I didn't hear the whole conversation, but that's what I took from it.

So far, it seems like Nick is doing pretty well, running in the top half overall and 2nd in the SP2 class, right behind the current leader. His last lap was 2:15.296.

Now off to work...
Nick set a 2:17.398
Now he's down to 2:16.689
Now he's on 2:15.586
where did you get that number DGAF?
Ahh, last lap? He just hit a 2.16.689
He just hit 2:15.586! He is getting better times than some of the A6 and 997 cars!
Yeah he's doing good I think his fastest yet is 2:12.117
Fastest lap for nick is a 2:11.963. It was made in the daylight in the first stint.
@dgaf95integra here are the lap times that have been posted on the thread so far. Unofficially, it looks like the 2.11.963 is @GumballCGT's fastest lap so far. According to the the picks, @AG07WRXTR is in position to win the Wireless ButtKicker Kit! Again, this is very unofficial. We won't know the official winner until we get the official timing sheets. However, post if you see him turn a faster lap. I'm about to hit the sack and can't keep watching the race- it's been a long day.. Not as long as if I've been in 24-hour race, but still.. ;)

@mopar fan,
You may and here is what you need to know and do in order to rejoin:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by midnight EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. The Race Director or Primary Host from the corresponding SNAIL Division will send you a PSN friend request. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7' based off your placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

Welcome back to S.N.A.I.L.

Cool and I am glad to be back.

Hmm bit of a gap with the updates so here we go; 'our' car had some issue with around an hour and a quarter to go, but given it had (pretty much) an hour lead over the Mosler in class, the crew took their time in getting it back on track. Took about 20 minutes and their lead was pretty much halved (sits at 24 laps at the moment with 25 minutes left) and Lucas is behind the wheel to bring the thing home.

They dont have a system emblemented to capture fast laps yet. They were talking about other features of the tracking earlier in the live stream about things that will be added in the near future. I watched all 3 stints by Nick an monitored every lap in the tracker. As soon as a time was faster than the previous time I jotted it down on a notepad.

Edit: #123 Finished 25th overall and 1st place in their class SP2.

Hillracing any thoughts about the team and tuner series? I know I would be interested. The team aspect of it really appealed to me.

@jobyone and I have occasionally kicked around ideas of multiple classes on the track.

I wonder if having the D4-D7 member in the xxxxx car at 525 PP and the D1-D3 drivers in the yyyyy car at 500 PP would have any interest, or merit? Could tune differently as well?

Just musing racing ideas over the morning cuppa joe with my two blondes. 👍
