Hey now. Nothing ghetto about used cars, as long as they aren't all rusted out, beat to crap ghetto. I don't like buying new cars and having a payment. Besides not liking owing someon or something money, I doubly l have a weird issue with not wanting to mod a car I have a loan out on. Of the near 30 cars owned, only one was bought new off the lot. It was the second worst car owning experience I've had. Nothing yet tops the vw experience.

A few days ago @zer05ive and myself were invited to bring a team to the GTPlanet 24 Heures du Mans which is taking place on July 12th and 13th. However, unlike the endurance races that I run on Saturday nights, this race will take place over a full 24 hours. I knew right away that I would like to participate and I need a little help so that we can compete. For the race we need a total of 3 drivers and a team manager(one of the drivers could double if we can't find someone else). The biggest challenge is that to be fair, we should each be able to race for a total of 8 hours over the 24 hour period, though I will gladly do more if needed. This is a very serious event, and is not to be taken lightly.
As for the car we'll be racing, we have a few options for class:
LMP - Le Mans Prototypes(i.e. Audi R18, Mazda 787, Bentley Speed 8, etc.)
GT+ - Super GT, GT1, GT2(i.e. Nissan GT-R GT500, McLaren F1 GTR, etc.)
GT - GT3 and GT4(i.e. Nissan GT-R GT3, BMW Z4 GT3. etc.)
To guarantee entry, we need to have the drivers and team manager sorted out by Monday June 8th. More information can be found at the following link.

Well that automatically knocks me out. I can't race consistently. Much less consistently fast.That is a great idea, I'm going to add that to the original post if you don't mind.
I agree that we should have the best with driver talent and race craft. Especially those who are not only consistent, but consistently fast and as clean as they possibly can. If we get enough applicants, I'll even pull myself out of the race and just be the team manager, if it gives us a better chance of a class or even overall victory. As far as online racing goes, this has got to be one of the most ambitious events ever done. How many gamers can say that they participated in a 24 hour race?
