Grats snails! I can now officially say there was almost another one up there as I'm currently sitting as first alternate.

I honestly hope I don't get a chance to go this year, it's a great top 12 and I'm ready to earn my way in proper next year :)
Goodonya fizzer.....

I removed all the tags on Facebook as people were getting a little tired of the phone beeping apparently :) what can I say, my friends and family are all very excited, combined with 10+ other tags, it's "active."

He's just trying to act cool. :P
Says the guy that asked me to untag him. Haha. :D

Lol, no. It's fine. My customers are just curious what is going on.
The Virtual World and the Real World have just merged....could any of you even imagined this 10 years ago. I joined SNAIL instead of several other groups because of the picture from Silverstone last year of the SNAILS capering for the camera. I had ABSOLUTELY no hope of emulating those guys but desired to see why one organization could produce that many qualifiers and reasoned that it might just be a good place to get some seat time.

Congratulations to every SNAIL who volunteers his time, to the guys who shoulder the main weight, and to the drivers who utilized this Organization's leagues to hone and/or demonstrate their potential .

Don't know if it's just me, but I can't get a list of servers up, no matter how I set filters or clear cache.

Hey just wanted to throw it out there to any SNAILs that made the finals for GT Academy. If you are in the LA area and want to do a track day and get some free instruction send me a PM. For that matter any LA area SNAILs who want to come do a track day let me know. I'm running my BRZ in the Winmax 86 CUP with Extreme Speed Track events and plan on running the 350z in the enthusiast class for Redline Time Attack for the rest of the season. Anyways even though I barely make it into the virtual world these days I'm proud to be a SNAIL and am always willing to help.

I knew I lived in the wrong place....

Then, there is this that can be applied, on the fly, to your G27.
Played with all these settings and they sure make a difference, I think I will be using the 670 setting.
I am a bit bummed though, my wheel will not stay centered no matter how often I reset. Within one lap it has drifted off to the right about 10 degrees. After a bit of research it seems this is fairly common, I found this link:
http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/11012-G27-losing-its-centering-position-(hardware-fix)
Has anyone here had this issue and did this cure it, it seems straight forward and simple to do.
Thanks.

I had the same issue you are having. I followed the instructions in that exact link you posted and it fixed the issue. My G27 is several years old now but it feels brand new. If you're having this issue now, it will probably arise again in 6-12 months from now depending on how much you use your wheel. I usually have to repeat the method listed in the link every 8 months or so, as the screws will eventually loosen up again. It is a bit time consuming when you have to go through the disassembling process, but it will fix the issue your having.

Congrats to all the SNAILs that made finals! It's pretty cool knowing you raced competitively with 70% of the finalists this year, it was a pleasure driving with you and come 2016 we might meet up on the world stage!

So if I am not mistaken we had 7 finalists last year and 5 this year so 50% of the finalist in the last two years have come from SNAIL. While all the finalists got there with there talent @zer05ive deservers a big shout out for creating an incredible training ground for future real life racers.

Congrats to all who made it this yea and for the rest there is always next year!
