Intentionally sandbagging won't work either. Telling everybody that you are going to intentionally sangbag probably isn't the smartest thing you could have done and isn't going to help your case in any way.

I am happy in which ever division i am placed in. Highest division i was placed in was Division 5 earlier this year and found out the drivers in Division 5 were way more faster than i was. Lowest Division is where i am now in Division 7. I don't have a complete understanding how the divisional placement works in SNAIL but i will say i am happy no matter which division i am placed in. It's to have fun, be competitive in a clean way and also a relief no incident reports against me from last Sunday. What i do each week i enjoy, always have and will. I try to be as much of a clean racer as i can be.

Thank you to the stewards, score keepers, replay uploaders, picture uploaders for the job you do to help to make sure SNAIL remains a competitive online racing league and done in a clean manner.

I plan to return as a new and improved Chatva this week, I took last week off and did some online racing in rooms that I would not normally enter just to see if;
1) I could keep an eye in front and behind to avoide contact, (remember dodgeball)?
2) to see if I could slow down enough to be fast.
3) most importantly, not rush the corner!, any corner!
After much of this, I think I am ready!

Welcome back Chatva and would like to race you again if i am ever put in the same division as you or any race for that matter.

OBSERVATION/INTERPRETATION: To ME, a level 2 & above means too aggressive. It says to me that the driver puts winning over everything; rather than being competitive. I.e. Racing hard, but under control.
If divisions have equal talent, then it would be absurd to think one can go from back-of-the-pack to the podium every time he starts in back after finishing R1 in the top 3 to 5. The competition is too good.

The ratio of R2:R1 penalties from last week is almost 2:1. And it's about 1:1 Level 1: Level 2 & up. (Had Mr. Bowler not had extra time it would be almost 3:1 L2&up:L1.) So it shows the second race is conducive to contact. And my guess is that it is coming from the top 3-5 drivers from R1; however, I DON'T KNOW.

In conclusion, might I suggest having a realistic finishing goal coming from the back (say 2-4 positoons) rather than expecting a podium. Consider a podium almost as a gift. It does take a good amount of good fortune to go from last to first. Remember, it is up to the following car to avoid incidenad and that the ahead car can be slower and drive their line.

JLbowler is a racer first and SNAIL Director second. He's been a part of this league since it's early days. He also has the right, as well as the obligation to report infractions of the OLR. It is in fact every racers obligation and responsibility to help enforce the OLR.

I hope everyone understands how much time and work he puts into the league, giving us an organization to be a part of and league to race in. I think at the very least he deserves to be given a little more patience and respect for this.

In regards to the cone penalties that has everyone's panties in a bunch - it is against the OLR, but perhaps zero wasn't too far off with his "wink" policy. The OLR has evolved over time and I don't see any reason why we couldn't have an OLR committee put together to review and propose changes and updates.

Other than that I have to say I already have enough drama from my teen and preteen daughters. You guys need to chill.

I'm assuming that I like everyone else who has joined this league has read, understood and is in agreement with the rules of this league.
If not in agreement then you would obviously choose not to join.
So you would think that everyone that did join should have nothing to complain about..."in a perfect world."

My solution if you don't like it...PM a bunch of your buddies, set up a room ( rules be damned ) and have some fun...easy peasy!!!

I've been waiting for that to come to fruition for 9 months so I can bring back the Oval Racing series on a full time basis. I'm starting to lose hope for it though. Maybe if I give up hope, I'll be surprised if it happens.

I'd like to remake Hwy. 1 in the Big Sur area. Driven that a few times. Slid off the road once when it started raining in July. Sandy road and fresh rain didn't mix very well.

I would also make Hwy 140 from Catheys Valley to Mariposa. It's not a great road but it does have some nice sweeping turns and elevation changes going on. I get to drive it at least once a week right now to work and back.
