I vote 2. Primarily because I think it's the best overall combo for the entire league.

While Madrid is a cool track, I don't think the RGT or Cobra are very good cars here. Just a lowly D7 guy here but those cars at Madrid with 12 on track would not lead to close racing.

The XBow to me is like driving a bag full of cats...it will bite hard.

The M5 combo sounds enticing but like JoeW said, the M3 GTR or CSL would be much better. The RGT would also be much better at Spa than Madrid.

Just a D7 guy so don't bash too much.

The RGT or Cobra at Madrid will most likely be one and done. A crash fest with very little close racing. I love the RGT idea...but give it a fighting chance at a track suited to it.

I would've thought that the fast Datsun @ Rome would not be a good combo, but the car just drives like butter around the track and pretty darn fast. Should be pretty fun if you can avoid the 'wall pinball' (demagnetize the car from the walls ).

Give it a try and learn the drive the cars on any condition or track. That is what makes a great racer!

i am looking to build one myself for a winter project. How about some pictures?

I'll get some pics up tonight hopefully. I have a plan in place for the center console, so as long as all goes well there I may be able to have it done tonight. At least getting the console mounted and the shifter in. The ebrake will probably still take some engineering.

It's a bit frustrating on PC as well, when you refresh the page to check for a new reply, but 40 images have to load first. I agree with the thumbnail, because we can click on them and look if we want to. Besides, it would be better to post maybe your 6-8 favorites, then give us a link to the rest if we want to see the rest. Quality, not quantity.

I just did a room test for the club events. Once the room is opened you cannot change any settings for the event. I will have more testing done tomorrow along having multiple rooms and if you need to be signed up for an event before it starts.

When I first opened my room last night I was unable to change any settings (they all showed as locked) but I exited out of the settings menu, waited for a few seconds, and went back in and was able to change all settings like before.

That is exactly what makes it fun!

Watching people crash into the wall and each other, spin and generally lose control is not my idea of fun. Remember, this is also a tight track with nowhere to go. If someone loses it in front of you, you will be collected as well.

I'll race it with no qualms. But it will not be close racing...and that is no fun.

It will be sad to see the RGT go when it never had a real chance of being here several weeks at a track really suited to it.

No run-offs and no rhythm. I'm not trying to sell my combo, just saying the RGT will not be fun for a lot of people and we/they know it.

Exactly why I think we should be limited to Premium cars only. So we can always have driver numbers. But that's very nit-picky of me and gets rid of a lot of decent cars.

I honestly don't care too much about driver numbers (It's not like I would disregard a car if it can't have numbers applied) but when there are two cars that are almost exactly the same except one is standard and one is premium, I feel like the premium should be picked. But of course that's up to those making the choice/suggestion.

I had no problems Changing the settings last night.

Were you in just the club lobbys? I tried a time scheduled race lobby which seems to be locked. I set a room to be opened. Once the time came, a green icon saying room popped up on the Club Events screen. I clicked on it. When I went to create the room, the only thing I could change was the Room Settings. Once in the room I was no longer able to change anything. Normal club lobbies are able to be changed whenever.

Whether a car can have a number or not should not influence the picks.

if you want a lot of masses to vote for your pick, start with something original. There are hundreds of available options that have not been yet explored.

For those of us that been here a while some combos are like

between the Super Leggera and the GT 350Z RS (almost the same thing) it's been run a lot. You will get a lot of the old snails to vote for original combos IMO.

No club. just a normal room like before. The clubs will probably be 'buggy' for a few weeks until PD weeds all the bugs out.

However I did create a 'Nurburgring Nordschelife' Club.

I do feel bad about picking that car after checking the combo list. I saw it was used for multiple weeks in a row. That means it's a good car people like. The first few weeks though were the same, Daytona Road Course. It was never run at Trial Mountain Reverse. Trial Mountain Reverse has only been run twice in the history of SNAIL, so I'm glad I picked a track that is fun that isn't used much and on top of that we're using a car that is reliable so we can focus on the battles instead of controlling the car through the turns. In the end it worked out but I will use the chart next time to pick something truly never before seen.
