So what's shaking tonight? Got most of the rig done, just a few things left, but I'll need to hit up a Lowe's for that. So in the mean time I have it up in its new home waiting for me to give it a go. Cat and mouse anyone?

SOME THOUGHTS
Since joining this league in February I have had very few incident reports filed against me and like to consider myself a clean driver and will be the first to apologize if I think I've done anything wrong on the track.
But If I'm being totally honest here, like a lot of us there have been times when I'm sure I've gotten away with more than a few.

Anyway I would like to take this as a wake up call and will strive to continually improve my racecraft in the future, because I want to stick around for awhile and racing in this league has been a blast!!!👍

Look forward to seeing you all on the track.

Could I please be moved to the inactive list. I've unexpectedly found a new job and I won't be able to play on Sundays for the foreseeable future.

Thank you

Here's an updated list of the official sponsors of Nick McMillen (@GumballCGT) and which sponsorship package they've signed up for. They ones with a 👍 next to their name have already paid, but I'm still waiting for payment from those without a 👍

Well i didnt write that post on the M5 just to stick with a premium car but if we have a choice between similar cars, I think we should choose the premium one and i don t say that to have a number on but for those who might play in car view on those who have enough money to buy a triple screen setup. But if there is a difference in the driving feeling, we should go with the car that have the best.

But we should be able to pick standard cars still because there is a LOT of good ones

Have a nice day.
I completely agree. Unfortunately the standard version is 100kg lighter so that helps. It's still over 1700kg though...

I can't post a picture to prove it, and this is a rare car in my area or America in general, but I saw a Spyker on my way home from work tonight. It was white. And the dude was with a girl and wouldn't acknowledge my thumbs up. What a douche. Nice car tho.

come on peole.. you need practice!!!

A) It was night time
B) My camera device is also my music device and was attached to a rig on the dash. Would take too long to get it undone and set up.
C) We were going ~50mph and he was about to get on the highway so my time was limited.

Maybe Llodyz figures he's Brett Favre.

I think you're right, or Michael Jordan? Hope he performs as well as them in their comebacks!

I wish I had worked on this Superman movie! ;)

Spyker actually had a car at the Vancouver Auto Show a few years back, but I have no idea why, because I've never seen a Spyker here before (and there are a gaggle of supercars here), and they don't have a store here.......
Of all places, they're in Calgary.....(not to knock Calgary I kind of am actually, but Toronto or Montreal or Vancouver would be a better bet.

Pardon my naivety, but what is the "goal" of the sponsorship program? I'm not inquiring about the cash goal, but the fundamental purpose. Just bringing awareness to Nick's career? Awareness of SNAIL? Just curious, that all. New guy here trying to understand the depth of the club. Thanks. :)
It's about supporting one of our own, getting some snail shwag, and getting some actual race publicity for the league. I imagine that if another snail wins that, so long as there is agreement with team management that they to will be rolled into the sponsor mix as well. It is also a point of pride for the league, as we are helping breed professional quality drivers.
Rally's explanation is spot on. The original announcement also provides some insight behind the sponsorship program, as does @GumballCGT's post here (which also happens to showcase the SNAIL helmet decals that our sponsorship funds netted us). :D

Or as @Chiochan once pointed out, it's just cool to sponsor a race car driver.

I knew some people in Calgary. Knew because they don't keep in touch anymore. He said they had a lot of supercars there and I was always jealous because I don't see many.

I saw this car in the distance ahead and it looked odd, I thought it was a Ferrari or something from the shape and rear lights. I floored my '06 Sentra, all 125HP and got close to him and along side as a red light turned green. I wish it was red so I could chat about it. I've literally never seen one in real life before. Not even at car shows. It's beautiful but had tiny Countach windows. Those suck.
