I use abs 1 because of lockups withit it. For brake balance try reducing the rear balance till you stop spinning
I usually use 7/6 or 7/5. Not sure what others use.

imtomtomimare you actually spinning under braking? If you crank abs all the way up, you can do anything you want with the wheel while braking. It won't work as well, but it will give you stability while decelerating.
Or, are you over rotating through braking and steering simultaneously, and then getting on the gas too hard
and it sends it the other way?
it's also a MR so you need to find the grip through throttle on the way out. If you coast while off throttle, the natural weight will push the back end out

Since people are talking brake balance, I thought I'd throw mine in there
I run 2/1 on just about everything. The only times I change are if a car gets really squirrelly under braking or I am having major trouble with uneven front/back tire wear.
I have considered giving 3/2 a try, especially on the more stable rides, but I haven't done any experimentation with that, yet.

Disclaimer: I have not done any extensive testing to prove any of this. Take from it what you will.
There are various theories as to how brake balance works. Since PD typically does a terrible job of explaining what is happening in the settings menu, the public is forced to speculate. (This is also true with how online servers work, when/what DLC is coming, what the studio is actually working on, etc, etc.)
Some feel that the 5/5 that the cars start with are what PD believes are equivalent to the factory settings for the car (which would almost never be an equal 1:1 as that 5/5 would make it seem.) Adjusting beyond that, therefore, would be taking the car away from factory settings. I think that this is very wrong.
Others feel that 10/10 would apply much more braking than 1/1. Therefore, 10/10 could stop much faster (provided their tires did not lock up and the car had the grip for it). I don't see that. I run low number and seem to be able to stop in about the same distance as another car.
Some believe that a balance of 2/1 and 10/5 would function equally, as the front brakes would have twice the braking power as the rear. Basically, anything chosen is just a ratio of front to rear balance. This has some merit.
Others think that the number represent how easy it is to get full braking on an axle. In this sense, 5/5 would mean that all brakes are producing full braking power sooner on the brake pedal than would 1/1. 10/10 would require the least brake pedal pressure to get full braking power. Uneven numbers, therefore, give you more pressure sooner on the axle with the higher number. (Imagine 2/1. Push the pedal to where the front brakes are at full power. At this point the rears are only at half. Any further braking will only increase rear brake power.)
My vision of it is somehow mixed between the last two theories.
It is important to notice, too, that, under this theory, a car with 1/1 balance and one with 10/10, traveling at the same speed and with full brake pedal applied at the same time would stop in the same distance. No matter the settings for your brakes, when you apply full pressure you get full braking.
The good, then, that comes from having those lower numbers is that it allows for gentler braking and more precise control when you want less than full braking pressure. This makes trail braking or slowing down just slightly for traffic a bit easier, as the car won't be immediately leaping to heavy braking pressure.
That's my view. Right or wrong it works for me.
