Round 2 - Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car (Racing: Hard) at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (5 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @aLmk wins Prize A, they get to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo (Racing: Medium) at Mid-Field Raceway / Forward (11 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @ConnorWolf gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Dragonwhisky so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated,so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more importantis that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, no car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Car Selection Guidelines
Dealership Cars - The maximum price for a selected car is now $1,000,000
DLC Cars - Only DLC cars that are FREE and currently still available in the PlayStation Store can be selected.

Track Selection Guidelines
Any non-DLC track can be selected as long as a single lap with the car combo'd with it would not take more than five minutes to complete. For example, don't select anything that includes the Nurburgring's Nordschleife.

Some action from tonight's Bathurst Practice. Room had up to 12 racers at one point. No issues experienced tonight, but the real test is still coming. As you can see we mixed it up a bit by racing all three cars together. The Aston is fast in a straight line and the other two stuck like glue in the mountain section. The times for all three were competitive.

I work all day today till about 11 tonight, but if I'm not too tired I will be on, testing out combos.

Last night was just their practice for the test session Actual test is on Friday the 13th. If Bathurst can survive a Friday the 13th test, it can survive anything.

I have done a race with a full grid there didn't have a problem and this was last Friday night.

If they started qualifying, they earned last place. If multiple drivers disconnected or left, then they are scored in the order they left.

It is now official, we now have a second car for use every Monday night. In addition to the Mazda Eunos NA '89 ( Miata to me) we will also utilize the Toyota/Subaru clones: the Subaru BRZ '12, the Toyota FT 86 '12, and its American rebadge the Scion FRS 12.

We will use the BRZ clones first at each track followed by the Miata because it is an easier transition to go from faster to slower than vice versa. We will also put softer sneakers on the BRZ clones depending on track to enhance their driver friendliness.

The BRZ clones are right on "the limit" for the Boost Algorithim , being sporty to drive, but not a problem for new guys. Having said that we stiil encourage lower division guys to join us to get some great wheel to wheel training and time with some rather accomplished front of the pack guys who WILL NOT punt you into the weeds in their eagerness to get to the front.

So far as I can tell, yes, his last bid of 60 $hells was around 8:50 or so yesterday morning so, he did indeed win the 1 year Premium GTPlanet Subscription. Shorty after I get home from work this evening and can verify @MajorBlixem has transferred those $hells to my account, he will get a shiny new Premium tag underneath his GTP Avatar.

We'll be staying at Midfield. The track is new to many of us and I would like to take a different car there. Pick a good one @ConnorWolf

If the above is unclear, I choose to freeze the track.

If there is data to enter, ie fast lap and gap, yes. If not, no. If they left or DCed before the finish you may have to back up in the replay to find their fast lap. If the gap exceeds 90 seconds, you can leave it blank or enter 90.000

Had a great time last night! Close clean racing, thrills and laughter were had by all. What a fun series! If you aren't currently participating in the madness that is Monday night pack racing I would highly recommend it!
