It's a good game. It looks and sounds fantastic, and is extremely immersive depending on the view you choose. Online has gotten a bit better, but is still a little buggy, well the whole game has bugs but they've been pretty quick with fixes. My only gripe (and it's really more personal than anyting to do with the game) is that's it's significantly more difficult than GT6, at least with a controller. I just practiced the same combo for like 90 minutes and still can't drive anywhere near as consistent (or fast, relative) as I can in GT6. It's a bit frustrating. Nearly makes me want to shelve it until I can have a rig..

I'll probably only ever have a controller and steep learning curves aren't my groove unless I really want to learn.

If its in regards to the Wii issues. Seems to be an over blown issue by some butt hurt individuals.

It isn't that. I've heard things that set me off a little bit but since I don't use those forums I have no real big issue. Maybe I'm just strange. :dopey:

Some onboard footage from my first stint in the afternoon session. Nothing spectacular but I was beginning to find my way and the car was running more cleanly than it had in the morning session.

I have another video processing at the moment and it's a bit more lively. Will post it when it's done.

Switch this up to HD in settings.

Another autocross event yesterday. This one was an Out of Region scoring event, at Ralph Wilson Stadium. It's a bigger lot that what we have in the Finger Lakes Region, but it's still not the size that I see on the west coast or national events.

I finished 4th in Street and 14th overall. I was actually in the lead until the 2nd half of the Street group ran in the afternoon. Getting better, but still really sloppy.

Pictures from the event. My Facebook page if you want to check out more.

Someone needs to do some edumacting on Sony and Polyphony Digital. They seem to think a name, which is essentially another for pancakes, is offensive. Apparently not as much a Nazionale though. They flat won't let the first 4 letters of that word be displayed.

From the little research I did, not only is there a gardening tool called Hoe, but there is a baking tool called Hoe as well.

I know a guy called Richard Ecknazi. If he tried using his nickname (a very common one for his name) and last name as his login, his account would be banned in about 2 seconds...
And, as a bonus, he is a pretty observant Jew, so it would be hilariously horrible for him to get a telling of from Sony due to his national socialistic d

Yeah the 182 Trophy is a special car but good ones a very expensive compared to decent 172/182 Cups. For the money you'd be spending on a Trophy you'd be in the same territory as a Megane R26 F1 which has a lot more tuning potential and may be the direction I may be going next.
Not to worried about the tuning seeing as EVO magazine rated The Trophy as one of the top 10 drivers cars of all time back in 2009 and it made the top 20 in their greatest cars they have ever driven for the oct 2014. If it is good enough for them I think I will leave it alone.

I agree the R26 has great potential. They had a great opinion of a tuned one in their Hot hatch issue in May 2014.
