Easily my most favourite driver. I was lucky enough to see him live in action when I went to the 1981 Dutch GP. Mainly in practice and qualifying though as his race didn't last too long.

We lost him the following year.

I ran over 10 000 laps on the Nordschleife since I got Gran Turismo 4, but I have yet to run a fast and clean lap in total darkness. That will be my personnal challenge for the new year. I can only do half the track without issues at the moment.

Hope all is well in SNAIL-land.

I am hoping to return to regular Sunday racing soon. Work has been quite challenging and I am still wrestling with end of year tech adjustments for my real car. (I will post in SNAIL Real Racing in a few minutes)

I am sorry I missed out on the Spitfire and some of the other variety the last few weeks. It is nice to see something that isn't a 550+ PP FR Racing car lineup, though YMMV.

As usual, I will bring up the rear in whatever division I am in.

Like Aero, I went out and bought a PS4 today with Project Cars. Am I spoiled or what? Now I have it on PC and PS3. The T300 works like a dream with the new system. Looking to join Grim's league on Tuesdays. This might be the death knoll for my Sunday night racing. There are only so many nights a week that I can race, somethings gotta give. I will still do the Monday night Pack races though.

Currently, I am attempting to get accurate time trial data for all of our active drivers with our current time trial.

Having this data more complete than it is will aid with division placement of new drivers and make it easier to get new drivers matched up with a division that matches their pace. While the time trial is not an exact science, the more data we have to use, the closer we can get with driver placement from the start.

I would like to ask every driver that is tagged in this post to take a few minutes to run the "new driver time trial." This is located in the club events section. You just have to run it one time all the way through. Give a solid effort so we get some accurate data to use going forward. You don't need to do anything but run the time trial to it's completion. The game will record your time and I will get it from the club and add it to the spreadsheet. Please do NOT run the time trial in groups. Just one person in the room at a time.

Once the majority of these are done, I will be asking some drivers that have improved since they ran the time trial to run another so we have an updated result for them.
