Oh, woops :dunce:

That was pretty much what I was trying to ask you about, that and restrictions. Got a little trigger happy, I wanted to get a selection in before I get too busy and forget. For some crazy reason I thought it would be a good idea to go back to school, so my head will be spinning a bit this week as I play catch up with the young ones... I guess the head spinning has already started :nervous:

No worries, I don't expect everyone to remember this all of the time. Therefore, I've just added a note at the bottom of the results post which I'll continue to add on future results posts as a reminder for future prize winners. 👍

Thanks Zero

Well I know you're too nice to say it so I will...

Now it's idiot proof for guys like me haha

If we could get a deal where league managers can get larger PM boxes then we would be onto something. Something could be incorporated in and it would be slick.

Or pay lil extra for space.

I was spoiled being a mod on our local car forum. Having no PM limit really was nice but then agin. At what point is a lil house cleaning necessary.

Be slick if one could PM say username Snail and the PM is forwarded out to those that are on the list.

Just dreaming a little. ;)

Having no PM limit would be sweet! I'm constantly bumping against the limit and have been doing "house cleaning" seemingly everyday. The problem is that I don't like to delete entire conversations from my inbox, so I "clean" by deleting the earlier messages in a chain that only have partial conversations.

You're really onto something with your idea about distributions lists. I'm sure the division directors would love to type in SNAIL DX in their PM and have a message automatically sent to everyone in their division! 👍

I think D3 was very clean last night.

Had a load of fun last night. Great races. Clean and fast. Thank you guys.

Glad that the racing was clean in D1 and D3 last night! Based on previous posts, D4 was a blast too. Unfortunately, that was not the case in D2 allegedly (based on the complaints filed so far).

Stewards, if you haven't already, please check into the stewards forum. There are quite a few complaints filed this week that need your attention.

you took your first win this week too did you not? I wish I had saved it if so =(

Actually 2; 1st Race at Tsukuba from the Pole and the Spa from 3rd place.

The Beemer at Spa is very challenging but fun!

BTW; I did saved all the replays in case you need one.

Is there a way to view replays on PC? I've saved the replays to flash drive.

There is a green/yellow in Div3, just a heads up in case you get bumped into that division you might have to change again ;)

S.N.A.I.L. Colour Combos
It might be helpful if the list was sorted by division first then number second. That way you can quickly see your division as well as the division above and below for similar colors. Also I did a mock up in excel of changing the cell background colors for the cars and wheels and it does make spotting colors easy. I would happily help out and do that if I had access:)

I respectfully disagree. Organising it by division leads to massive gaps with colour and numbers as not everyone in the list has chosen. We were getting more number copies before I changed it to being sorted by number (it used to be based on priority, no division column at all).

Since seniority is used for who gets what color, should thee be a consideration of something like... (absurd example):

Handlebar finally makes it to D4 in his Lime Green Metallic lawn mower. Should he trump the other green metallic driver who has been in D4 for 8 months?

If I change my color, I do not think I should be able to take it from someone who already has it, even if for one week.

I would also suggest removing the colors/ numbers of drivers we have not seen in awhile.

Exactly why I went Beige, # 39! No one else in all of Snail had it.

No problem.

So I wanted to give everyone a brief synopsis of my D2 racing evening by posting my first race photos. I was sick last night while racing (and am still ill today) and was hoping for that Michael Jordan sick performance when I got the exact opposite. I managed to crash out of the lead or roster contention in every single race. Frustrating it was...

So bear with me while I post some D2 Racing action photos....

Race 1: Here I am on the far right going off into the grass after turn one while in the top three. I held up to let everyone pass and finished near dead last.
i-g4JnMwQ-X3.jpg

Race 2: Here's DrKronin, myself and Speed coming out of the motorcycle chicane.
i-MK34wkd-X3.jpg

Race 2: Then I decide it's time to be an idiot by going off in the final hairpin while on Kronin's tail.
i-4wfDNJL-X3.jpg

Race 2: Then Kronin decides he likes what he saw and gives Speed the win...
i-8mRLQXh-X3.jpg

Race 3: After a halfway decent run I'm upper mid pack and decide to get a wheel off at the final hard left. Tcrash just aimed for the smoke and survived.
i-Ld4drSB-X3.jpg

Race 4: I have a 9 second lead on lap 6 when I brain fart and go off before the final hard left.
i-TQ5r9Wp-X3.jpg

Race 4: So I rejoin just before 2nd place Vail arrives and I give him room on the inside of the final hard left.
i-RMnVwmJ-X3.jpg

Race 4: By now I'm back up to speed exiting the corner and Speed (yellow) and Tensor (black) already have a heated battle going on while they dive inside of myself and each other.
i-wkVr6Fv-X3.jpg

Race 4: Tensor and Speed are heavy on each other with me in the white car.
i-fC3Rhz8-X3.jpg

Race 4: Tensor gets into Speed who gets into me...who gets left out ;)
i-xd2LVPS-X3.jpg

Race 4: Kronin and Jazz get too see me up close and personal but live to tell the tale as the final lap looms.
i-kKqqpZt-X3.jpg

Race 5: I grab the pole in the blue M5 (far right) and lead Jazz (middle) and DGA (inside) going into the turn after the first long straight.
i-DqJBwcp-X3.jpg

Race 5: Drifting up the hill in front of the group.
i-DtrC6Db-X3.jpg

Race 5: Jazz dealing with some tail out issues after I bumped him with Kronin behind me.
i-JXDZPW9-X3.jpg

Race 5: Then I decide that I see a hot dog vendor along the wall and head straight over. Race over for me.
i-vrPvSqj-X3.jpg

Race 5: Same shot...Jazz is looking in the mirror deciding if he's hungry enough to stop as well.
i-bjz8tTP-X3.jpg

Race 6: Here I am leading the race and losing it...again.
i-5WfJg8R-X3.jpg

Race 6: I recover well enough to be in 4th on the final straight of the last lap before this...
i-Q2KFk2S-X3.jpg

There's always next week. Hopefully it was the sickness and not how I will be driving the rest of the season ;)

I was pretty happy everyone decided to thank me by letting me win race 4 . I was in 5th crossing the start/finish at the beginning of the last lap.

luck was definitely on your side in that one :)... like it was for me getting you round the outside of turn 6 for the second weekend in a row :sly:

Hmm I dont see me ever touching the dude in the yellow car...

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - BMW M5 '08 @Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
Therefore it has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since Soren535 wins Prize A, he gets to decide which car and track will replace it.

The round that received the second most votes was:
Round 1 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR '96 @Tsukuba Circuit
Therefore, either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since hillracing gets Prize B, he gets to decide which is replaced and what replaces it.

The Beemer and I have started to bond... I will miss it! :ouch::guilty::indiff:
