Hosts should start the night's racing at the scheduled time. The only reason to delay the start is to sort connection issues for those that were in the room on time or to give someone who was in the room on time their 3 minutes to return to the lobby.

Weird bug, I was not able to type in the lobby.

I vote 2

I had my best night since I joined, first and second wins starting from the back in the reverse races. @notime72 close race, til the last corner. Well done !

Awesome racing with everyone especially @gatordaryl.

Thanks for making me stepping up my driving, I struggled a bit at first when I rejoined in last december. In 2012-2013 I was getting lots of win in D1, well kinda like @gatordaryl and @Timlour but back in the GT5 days, and I was a bit shocked to see how much faster the league has gotten. Now I’m starting to be able to keep up a little bit more with the top guys.

Thanks a lot guys for the races, I feel like I’m improving each sunday night

What a great night to close off GT Sport.

misstatement in d1 lobby tonight. Thought I'd purchased hard copy of GT7 but that was clear back in September. I don't remember squat. Digital deluxe edition. I was able to download the file a few days ago. When I open the application I get a pretty countdown timer to gameplay.

Same for me when I were able to download digital deluxe of grid legends. Countdown timer would show. Was able to play after timer ended.

  2. no1needs2perish --- voted to eliminate Round 3 - 91 (89.55 for Prize C)

  9. ruggermole -------- voted to eliminate Round 2
  10. cesarr64 ---------- voted to eliminate Round 2
  11. Skills_19657 ------ voted to eliminate Round 2
The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - PORSCHE 911 GT3 (997) 2009 (SS) at Circuit de Sainte-Croix - C - 20::30 Clear (4 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @gatordaryl wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.
PLEASE NOTE: Since @gatordaryl has already won Prize A this season, he is ineligible to win it again until next season. This means that unless he loses Prize A due to incident reviews, any driver who competed in Division 1 on Sunday night will have the opportunity to suggest an entirely new car and track combo. I recommend that all D1 drivers from Sunday night start TESTING combos they would like to suggest. That way, you will be ready to post a good combo when @JLBowler gives the "all clear". It's important to mention that a good combo will not have a car that hits its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft). Also, please be sure to only suggest one combo. Any driver who suggests more than one combo will automatically be ineligible to suggest any combos at all. Please don't let that happen to you. Only suggest ONE combo (but not until @gatordaryl is confirmed as the Prize A winner).

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - NISSAN FAIRLADY Z VERSION S (Z33) 2007 (SM) at Nürburgring GP - 17:00 Clear (6 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Phlano099 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Rob Brown so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

All three versions of the hard copies were available for pre-order on Amazon last night and today with no mention of any of them being out of stock.
I was super excited when I heard this JL….No luck for me in the Twin Cities though.

Seemingly Dull-Mart has copies available for collection tomorrow evening. Yet to believe it, but had to take the chance! It’s taken a huge knock against my pride to step into a Dull-Mart store. 12 years and counting…. Swallow my pride!

Important Announcement

As we all know, GT7 is upon us.

SNAIL will not be conducting a traditional season during the month of March.

The month of March will be used as a roster building and testing month for the transition to GT7.

There will be no official Sunday night racing on March 6th.

March 13th, 20th, and 27th will serve as testing nights for GT7, the SNAIL format, and a form of stress test for number of drivers in the lobby.

The calendar will be updated to reflect this and we will return to our regular schedule for the first night of the April season.

There will be a time trial that will have to be submitted for GT7. All currently active, on the drivers list, will be included in a conversation with a link to the time trial instructions. The time trial will open on March 7th. If you wish to participate in the first test night, your time trial will need to be submitted no later than 11:59 PM ET on March 12th.

Any new members will need to follow the existing registration process to join.

Great idea for the transition to GT7, it lets us earn credits and cars. I will certainly take part in the practice races and the new time trial. The 4th cant come soon enough.

I would suggest to everyone that they spend some time in the game before running the time trial. I would also suggest that you don't blow through credits on items you don't really need as we are not sure of the in-game economy at this point.

It has been noted that the game throws you a lot of cars early on so most of us should be able to get through the early stages of the career mode with gift cars and save those potentially precious credits for cars needed to race in SNAIL.

Gotta say I am disappointed in the track count. They really only added a few of the old tracks. I was hoping for a lot more. So many great ones. And they could have dropped a few current ones off if you ask me. I hope they plan to add more tracks and cars via updates in the future.
