I must have missed this earlier this week. Glad to hear! Best of outcomes come Nov. 9, definitely look forward to seeing you back on trackHello to all my old Snail friends and hello to all the new members….it’s been a minute, Lol!
Well the last year and a half, to two years has been interesting to say the least. It started with the diagnosis I was hoping I would never have to hear, but always feared! After 2 surgeries and multiple follow up procedures, things are looking a lot more optimistic. Anyway Sweet Tee(AKA the wife) has been taking great care of me and we’ve been wanting to make a come back for a while now and providing things haven’t changed after my next scope on Nov 9th, we plan to do just that!
Just wanted to check in and give a heads up that you might start seeing us in the practice lobbies soon.🤟
@Louis3986I have read the first post and would like to join. Saw a lobby in GT7 and looked it up. Exactly the league time/type I was looking for all day today!
@TecraI have read the first post and would like to join.
I was in a lobby and told to look up SNAIL on GTP because they thought I was fast. I don't think I'm all that fast but would love to join for clean and comptetive racing.
yea in D2 we also discussed possibility of the 4c on SS tires instead.. def a car which requires some slippery tires for cornersGreat racing D1 tonight, glad my ps4 did not overheat so I could race all 6 races,
Side note I understand we changed tire specs because cars were hard too drive with GT7, well their easier too drive now with updates, can we have a friendly conversation about little adjustment,
Felt weird 4C with 240hp on RH @JLBowler
It was a fun night, and I made almost no mistakes. It was a very consistant couple of races. Very pleased with my results. Also, its nice to see bigger grids. We were 9 in D1, very cool. Honorable mention to @IceWarden for your two wins, well done !Great racing D1 tonight, glad my ps4 did not overheat so I could race all 6 races,

First of all, we will not adjust the tire regulations on a car by car basis. With that being said, develop and propose an alternative to what we have now and we will be happy to take a look at it.It was a fun night, and I made almost no mistakes. And yes @Kgffy @FCB-Rizla-TML Seems like everything we race since the last couple of weeks is on RH tires. 300 hp street cars like the 02 RX7 Spirit R shouldnt be on RH. SH/SM would be more in line for this type of car because at this point everything just feel like a GR4 or GR3 car. I just want to start a discussion here, no hard feelings.
First off, I'm just a spectator and I'm happy to race cars on whatever tires allowed. But, I am curious about how tires are determined in Snail. It would seem it's not on a car by car basis, so is it a formula of some kind that you plug in parameters and it spits out a tire? And if it's the latter how would someone (someone like my brother) develop an alternative?First of all, we will not adjust the tire regulations on a car by car basis. It's a simple chart with a range of PP, at stock, that corresponds to a tire compound. For the most part, there has always been a small group in D1 that thinks everything is too grippy. Just like there is a small group of sim racers that think harder automatically equals more realistic.First off, I'm just a spectator and I'm happy to race cars on whatever tires allowed.
