:confused:Not sure if this kind of thing has ever happened in SNAIL? @zer05ive , @JLBowler , @Akzl298 @Rednose58 . I mean, really? WTF? :odd:

Gonna put my "suggestion" in for Deep Forest as well. Not really interested in driving the Celica at an Oval. Although, thinking about it a little more, that tail happy little car may be quite the handful at DF.

Now we need a tie breaker?

Yeah, WTF... right? Requires participation. With only 1 division, the suggestion and voting process doesn't really work. With the first non responsive prize winner, I decided to move along down the line based on points from last week's racing.
@Gurney67 - you’re the new Prize C winner since we haven’t heard from @EvoSpecX. Please make your selection asap

UPDATE
Another 24 hrs have passed, still no prize C selection. @TokenTimmy , your up to choose the track for the Toyota Celica GT-Four (ST205) '94
@unsteddie , you are the final driver who raced last weekend, who has not won a prize this month. We need a track for the Celica GT-Four (ST205) '94

Tie breaker or executive decision, as long as we get a track before tomorrow night. Next person to suggest a track between Deep Forest and Daytona settles it ?

Of course, the BoD is not responsible for the non participation of certain members. (Massive thank you for keeping the league running, I can't say it enough) As a tip, activate the ''follow'' function (Top right corner) on this thread and put an email alert on top of it if you don't visit the forums often. That will ensure that you don't miss a prize pick during the week.

I agree with the sentiments expressed above, namely Snail is run by the members of Snail, and that has become a pretty short list. The BoD (a mythic group in my mind when I joined 4 years ago), while rarely on track (a shame, but understandable) do a yeoman's job of keeping things running. But that means the rest of us need to help out; pay attention to the thread (great suggestion @Worst_Driver ) make prize picks when a winner, make suggestions when appropriate. PS, I thought the Daytona suggestion was a way of insuring the Celica would get voted off the island, so for what it's worth I would like to see it at Deep Forest.

I am one who follows the thread but have every email notification possible turned off. Imagine others do so as well. Back when I joined, everything was done here in the main thread without the prize winner back channel conversation. Seemed to keep things more fluid and open.

Saw @EvoSpecX online the other day and just assumed (incorrectly) he was testing tracks. Was probably checking out the update. Had I known he was an absentee winner, could have sent him a message to check thread.

I want to join this league. Please send instructions. Thanks
In 2013, Here is my first post for Snail. Is this my last post? Please make an executive decision! How hard could it be. Spec ll has sparked my racing interest.

I concur re: chose a combo. I'm not overly concerned what track is chosen, I only want to know what track is chosen. I'm saddened a few more of us at the back didn't jump at our chance to make a prize pick. I love the last race of a season; It's my chance to win a prize, Woo Hoo! And is there an official Prize A choice? Being in D1Lite I really need to get some laps in. Trust me, you want me to get some laps in, and practice starts.

i'm sorry i've been away from the computer this week and forgot to check. I usually never win prizes so that's why it didnt occur for me to check sooner, Sorry about my mess up. I'll be more aware next time

i choose the track to be Goodwood
I got a 1:31 lap time doing 3 laps. I'musually a couple seconds off the lead pace though. so maybe 11 laps?

Was worried about this happening. With so few of us in the league now I want to avoid this as much as possible.

Happy to switch to the 190e which is currently available if @Akzl298 is okay with it.
Decision to open up car selection to all cars in the UCD and Legends Dealership (Under the price cap) was made quite awhile ago, to give us a bigger selection for Sunday nights. Enough time was given for "most" cars to be purchased.

All decisions are final when selected. This will not be a change I'm willing to make on my own, the rest of the BoD will have to weigh in.

I was good at going through the UCD, but I am a little slack when it comes to checking the Legend dealership. Fortunately I did find the AMG 300, once I stopped looking in the Mercedes garage. :)
But it isn't there at the moment unfortunately.

@A_Higher_Place If you want to pick cars that are in the UCD and LCD, you decrease the chance of someone not having the car by picking on that is currently in the rotation so that everyone has the possibility to buy it. That way, everyone gets a chance to get the car and if it lives on to the next week, most of the people will have the car. It's the downside of picking in the UCD and LCD but that's where the best cars are ;)

Nice pick still, I'm looking forward to race it...and this looks like the last week with the Celica. Mark my words, Goodwood will kill the Celica.

The drivers list and grid list are updated for this week's racing. @HELLBOUNDIVER

Just a reminder that everyone needs to be paying attention to the thread during the week as the prize winners can come from just about anywhere especially later in the season.

As for choosing cars that are not currently available in the LCD or UCD. The decision was made to allow for any cars that are under 2 million credits to be chosen and to allow for LCD and UCD cars to not always be a one and done. Two months notice was given before this was implemented.

With that being said as for the letter of the law, just because something is allowed to be done does not mean that it should be done. A simple post with a question as to how many people don't have the car would probably be a good idea before finalizing a selection that involves a currently unavailable car. Of course this would rely on people paying attention to the thread and we all saw how that worked with prize selections this week so take everything I just said for whatever you think it's worth and I'll go back in the house and quit yelling at people to get off my yard.
