I have read the first post and would like to join SNAIL. I’ve moved on from another team and am looking for a new ride. A friend told me about the team and that you’re always looking for new drivers. Hopefully, I’ll be a good fit for you guys.

@Prmafrozt

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add zer05ive, JLBowler, nmcp1,llNovall, Akzl298 & Dragonwhisky
as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

I just wanted to wish @CdnSweetTee a Happy 33rd Anniversary. (Yes we’re ild, Lol). Today is our anniversary but we will be celebrating on the weekend, so depending on when we get home we may or may not make Sunday night racing.

Mentally, I had the pair of you in your mid 30s. Congratulations on 33!

Fit is never an issue. There is plenty of K-Y Gel here.:gtpflag:

Little update on my road trip to the american rockies and around. Still two beautiful days of twisting roads in Utah and Colorado before heading back home. Beautiful roads and scenery, absolutely breathtaking. On that, see you next sunday on track.

I have read the first post and would like to join, I’ve been out of Gran Turismo since GT3 but I’m getting back into it. I always do my best to be a clean driver I hate getting spun at every turn.

I heard about your league on Facebook

Here's what I'll be bringing to tonight's racing. The location is the Salton Sea just east of Palm Springs, Ca. I've been there once and it is one of the most bizarre locals I've been to. An interesting history; irrigation canal breach in 1905, resort destination in the '50s, virtually dead lake today with a beach made of fish bones not sand and home to some very 'interesting' people.

You can also visit a digital rendition of the area in GTA V as Sandy Shores. Pardon the potato pics.

Sunday Pre-race Network/PS/GT7 Maintenance

1) Clear GT7 Network Cache
2) Close game and shutdown PS
3) Turn off/disconnect all devices using home network. This is an important step if you have been experiencing lag. If not possible to remove all devices from your home network, remove as many as you can.
4) Power down router.
5) Restart Modem
6) After modem has finished restart, wait 5 min and power up router.
7) After router restart complete, wait 5 min and power up PS
8) Run PS network connection test, if test normal, ie: your download and upload speeds are where you expect, next step. If not, begin from step 1
9) Launch GT7
10) Go to Sport Mode and run connection test there, if test states that its a good connection, go to multiplayer and find and join lobby. If not normal go back to step 1

@JLBowler @Akzl298 It’s getting close to crunch time and we don’t have anyone confirmed to do hosting, replays, scores or data in D1. I will definitely not make it in time to host and @Dragonwhisky is out as well and not sure about @Worst_Driver .
Is it possible to move one or more of the senior guys from D2 for this evening or how should we proceed?
