Well being as the DLC content is now going to be available, D4 better watch out because I'm coming for prize A and getting that Impreza TC on a track! TO KARTSPACE I GO!

On the Kart.

125 SPL has same specs as the 125. Assuming they are the same? If so that make both eligible?

Why would you run that one? Just run the car that's announced before people start calling shenanigans.

Only reason I ask is all the kart rooms I visit have both running. For myself I had the SPL broken in. If it didn't matter which 125 then I'd just use it and save 8 hrs of breaking in a kart. ;)

I will send codes for$10 cards to zero that he can send as needed

Thanks very much for your generosity, but please hold that thought. tcrash and I worked something out right before you made your offer (which is why I think he was confused by your post). I'll PM you with the details. :)

Shenanigans. I haven't heard anyone else use that word , besides myself , in years!

Love it!

Online B-Spec Challenge Number 2

The third race there will let you enter your kart. It's two laps at Nürb 24. That will get you over 30 miles per race. You won't win, that's certain, but you'll break that baby in.

This takes about 25 minutes per race. So you're looking at 3 hours from 0 miles if you keep on it.

Ok breaking in karts:

Take your kart to your private lounge and set up room and track. You will want London as it doesn't have pits. So set the race to 200 laps and start race. Click pause and go to bed. Wake up and kart will have went the 200 laps and put 238 miles on. Rebuild engine and viola.

Karting is fun. I am so pissed about that last race. Three laps to go and in the lead by over 8 seconds From Nic-Kl and I blow it:( lots of fun guys. I am looking forward to DLC

That takes longer but is more hands free. Cool.

^what he said.

Already started that bspec seasonal. Reckon I'll bail from that and set it up like Owens described and hit the rack.

London:

168 laps is 200 miles

152 laps is 180 miles

4:45 sec laps. Takes 45 minutes roughly 10 laps

So note that if you cancel out of a race you lose miles. To save time drive some of the laps. ;)

This may just be the rum and cokes talking but being a S.N.A.I.L. Rocks. This community continues to amaze me:) now if I could just find a few more late night racers;)

This is brilliant! I am officially in "Driving Miss Daisy" auto-pilot mode until the morning.

I would recommend that we do it last, no matter the PP. Switching from karts to cars is almost beyond my mental capacity.

I love racing Karts in GT5

I hope I can race this Sunday. And I do like Ap's idea of racing the Karts last, it does mess with the mind.

Unless anyone has any objections, I'm following Ap and cheeb's suggestion by moving the Kart races to Round 3 instead of where they would normallly be based on PP (Round 2). The lineup has officially been updated to reflect this.

You meant penalties will be off for round three, right?

:sly:

Another tip for breaking in your Kart inna B Spec faster... Go faster!

Dial up the transmission (I went to 117 mph) for Bob, then reset when done.

I like using the Online #1, Indy Road Course, 10 laps, 20 minutes, 26 miles, and some cash 66k or so.

Just for a different experience on the Road Tracks .... I have often driven Karts and had some Online folks join me. Any of the short tracks are particularly challenging, Tscuba, Eiger Mtn Short Track, etc. Have thought, IF I ever won Prize A that would be my choice. Hopefully our Cadre (SNAILS) will keep the Karts around for a while and have a go on the different Road Courses. Looking forward to Sunday night ....... may not do very well, but it will certainly be a change of pace.

Why not run it in where it's supposed to be run? We haven't changed the line up previously because it switched from a race car to a street car and vice versa. I think it's part of the challenge. Being able to adapt from one discipline to another.

Where did I say I objected? I simply posed a question. The reason the question was asked was to get a rational answer. Not a sideways response.

GTPEDIA, because you have to monetize it somehow...

I was wondering the same thing... I only saw one mention of changing the order, and I don't think we should do that.

I wish I had read this more carefully. Just exited and lost all my miles! :ouch:
