zer05ive,
Can you confirm all five division lounges are configured with the same race quality?

Yes, all five lounges are configured with the same settings. However, that's a moot point since Coach's thirty failed connection attempts on Wednesday night were in the Open Lobby and not in the divisional lounges.

I had no problems in the other practice room At ALL. I got disconnected Sunday for last race and had to retry 5-6 times to connect initially for Sunday races.

If I had to guess, it will probably go away on it's own. If it doesn't, it's likely something with your home network or ISP. There's no reason I can imagine that it would matter which lounge you're in, but it does matter who the lounge host is. Since D2 has run with the same lounge host for much (all?) of the last several months, and no one else has had consistent problems there that doesn't have problems everywhere, I doubt the lounge host is the problem. That's why I would guess that it has something to with your end.

Of course, all of that is wild speculation :) But I do know a bit about this stuff, and that's my best guess. If the problem persists, go through the standard list. Reboot everything (PS3, routers, cable modems, etc.). Clear your cache. Check cables/wiring inside and outside for obvious issues. If using Wifi for your PS3, try alternate router antenna locations/positions. If none of that works, call the ISP.

Edit: And make sure no one else in your house (or your neighbor stealing your Wifi) is streaming movies at the time.

Does hosting make any difference? I host quite a bit with no issues at all.

your connection strength to the host probably does matter, which is why its part of the screen in the open lobby list.

Too bad there's no way to know when joining an individuals' lounge, or your specific SNAIL D-lounge.. or is there?

was this the 1st or 2nd race... I have the replays.. .I try to get some pix.

I think it was the 2nd race ....... and 2arm was in the blue/white car that went across the nose of my car. Not sure, it happened really quick.

Man, how do you ds3 guys up there in d2 and d1 do it? A ds3 is great for drifting, but no way could i race on a Sunday with one.
BTW, ran the cappy last night with joby and goat. That car was awesome. I'm kinda surprised it didn't stick around longer. If a car can be said to promote close, clean racing, the cappy is the epitome.

Of all the Combos that SNAIL has presented .... during my short membership - and limited abilities ..... The Cappi was absolutely the most competitive for me. Thoroughly enjoyed the car, no matter what track I tried it on.

Of course, maybe that just indicates that I just need Less HP and More Grip on the tires - which just amplifies my poor Race Craft. Div 5 and me are going to be friends for a very long time.

Anyway, I sure wish we could revive the Cappi - if only for Div 5 enjoyment and training. So much better than mowing the grass or disturbing the Kitty Litter all the time.

I've heard of the first dance, but how do you do the "disturbing the kitty litter"? I've never heard of that one.

Do you want to try it around Nurb Nord? 👍

Maybe someone needs to organize a Cappi race series:) I am curious how the Honda s800 race car would compare:idea:

In need of lots of credits? Last night I completed the German Touring Championship. This is the easiest 'expert' seasonal I've done. I use the Audi A4 Touring Car ’04 which is about 50-70pp lower than the max; thus every race I was getting about 1 mill credits added to the 1st place purse. Even the last race which is usually a PITA to finish in first place; knocked it down on my first try with .6 sec ahead.

Win all and get a level 17 ticket.

For a little more competition I use the Mercedes 190 EVO TC. Got a $1.8 million bonus on top of the prize cash.

The best race to grind on if you can do it is the expert level formula challenge at nurb unless the German touring car races are really short. Put a 200 kg ballast in the f1 and move it to where the weight distribution is 50/50. Turn downforce all the way down, and lower hp as much as you feel comfortable. Raking in 2.5 mill or more per race

Sure ........ Let's take it anywhere and see what happens.
I'm wondering if D5 would entertain a series of Race Craft Training events?
Use the Cappi at different tracks for improving individual abilities and how to race in close proximity to each other.
Just an idea 💡 ....... not necessarily a good one or workable.

F1 as in FGT or one of the Ferrari cars ?

I think this is a great idea. For noobs like me it would be a great way for feedback from other racers. Maybe have some d1 or d2 guys there watching the race and then giving "clinics" for each racer. This would be time consuming and maybe a little boring for those guys, but it would be valuable.

In D-5 for Mortals practice.
Seems like I spend more time "in the way" when on the track with Aliens or Alien Clones (real fast guys - D1 or D2)
