Actually Cheeb, Bowler made both of those points. Both good too. I just wanted to point out that the main thread may be the place to ask how to lodge a complaint, but its not the place to post a complaint.

Good bye FGT.

TO add to what qwiet mentioned, you can make the throttle control easier by going up a gear for the slow tight corner exits (or even the chicane thing if its loose there).

What I do for cars like the F1 or the vette with a lot of power for the tire being used is I will go down to the lowest gear I can for the corner to get it to turn, but then up one before I get on the gas. With the vette last night I was actually going up 2 gears at times before getting on the gas. So for a tight turn on Motegi I would sometimes go to 1st under lift when I need it to turn most, then up to 3rd before I got to full throttle.

If its getting loose during braking (like turn 1) I would start feeding in the brake before fully coming off the gas. That will make it very stable usually when you get to full braking. This works in real rear wheel drive cars too, I use it all the time on tricky transitional corner entries 👍

Couldn't of offered any better advice.

Only thing to add. When steering this beasts. Get in tight and get the wheel angle back Towards center before laying down the throttle.

Both cars were a blast. Even on Sports Softs. Wish the 350z was on Sport hards or mediums.

Tried the suggestions. Sorry I could not join you to learn something, Skills.

Ran with Worst_Driver and (briefly) saw him drifting corners and nearly lap me in 3-4 laps.

Have not been able to improve my enjoyment of driving this duo, yet.

Yup, don't let his name fool you

Worst driver isn't.
I don't have any.

For these combos?

Me either, at least not printable, if viewed from "is this good, clean racing for almost half of SNAIL or better? " bias...

Then again, I hope for fun and close stuff.

So... Uh... I will practice a bit more in a bit, but I am not really looking forward to it.

GT5addict, do what i do. I don't complaint. I get hit over and over again but i know that accidents happen... no one hits on purpose and i'm absolutely convinced that everybody does they're best to keep the races as clean as possible. I get pissed if i hit someone and i believe no one likes to hit anyone else so why make it worst by filing a formal complaint?

I think gt5 addict is in D2. Pushing to match his times could be causing you to go into corners too fast and that is one of the worst things I do. Go slower to go faster.

Well... Because bringing something to light that needs to be corrected is valuable to the overall community, even if only as a discussion... And not in need of a 'fix.' Official inquiry does not assume guilt, and for a practice incident, I must wonder if you doth protest too much? And publicly? sigh...

Failure to disclose or discuss ideas, or 'negative behaviors, But it was practice, man,.... practice' is repressive or reprehensible in a collaborative group.

We are the best of our ideas, even if we do not always like them - I can assure you I am not in the 'liking this at the moment' camp.

I was not pushing, I was trying to go smoother and slower.

Not so successfully.

Ok.... I am about frustrated to completion.

Not even close and no sight of improving.

Don't worry you're not alone. I'm pulling 1:47-1:48 in the F1. But it seems like I drive for two nights get frustrated, feel bad, read tips on the forum, and by the third night get in the neighborhood.

That's kind of what I like about this league. Seeing the concrete improvement.

I don't think I'm going to make it to the races Sunday. I've been on antibiotics since Monday with no signs of improvement. I actually feel worse today than I have all week. Heading to the doc tomorrow with high hopes of not being diagnosed with dead. Just do me a favor and keep the McLaren around 👍

Hahaha

In fact my PSN ID is based on a TV show that airs on Discovery Channel. Canada's Worst Driver. I think it has been done in britain too. It's the only reality show worth watching IMO. Featuring terrible, abysmal and all around bad drivers.
There's also a Canada's Worst Handyman.
A whole lot of fun and laughs.

Graphic content (A Rolls gets scrached and dented by the drivers:scared:)

I concur for the most part. Bumping is racing, it would take someone blatantly pushing me off the course and not stopping for me for me to file a complaint. We are all driving with different connection speeds, in different environments, and some of us with a different type of controller, making a totally clean race a little unreasonable

I can't run a 100% clean race with my friend in split-screen. Simply for the fact that you don't know what the other driver is exactly going to do. The best you can do is assume. Ass-u-me. It makes an ass out of you and me. Not all contact can be completely avoided but a good portion as long as everyone is doing their part.

They did a U.S. version at least briefly. I remember because one of the challenges was to parallel park facing downhill on a street with a 26% grade in San Francisco. I used to park there whenever I visited my girlfriend. And I did it with a manual

Props to you !!! 👍

In my town, parallel parking is let's just say inexistant. So when I travel out of town, I've got a bit of a difficulty to park...with an automatic. I just don't do it often enough to get used to it.:indiff:

I think we're at the 8th season here in Canada, a great show. You can learn (a bit) while being entertained. Along with mythbusters those are my favorite shows. (excluding Top Gear obviously)

All right, I'll stop the off topic talk. I promise. :)

If you were ramming away I think that would count as blatantly pushing off of the course, but yea basically

So, yeah, basically you think we should bump others off the course and move forward...

I may have misunderstood... Ram at will to advance - good ?

I guess I am no longer really following what SNAIL is aiming for.
