think we need FWD cars back (its been over 2months!) i pick the Honda integra type r (DC5) '04

Since Worst_Driver actually won Prize A (not Prize B), you actually get to suggest the car and track combo (not just one or the other). I'll let you make another suggestion since I was the one who messed up the instructions. :)

If I wasn't able to race last night, can I still give an option for the combo?
If so I think we should do some good ol fashioned nascar

Nope, sorry. The instructions clearly state that you must have raced in D1 on Sunday night in order to offer an official suggestion that Worst_Driver can select from. Just one of the perks of being on the grid. ;)

Btw, the results post has been updated with the correct Prize A wording (and not the copy and pasted Prize B wording from last month).

Then again, did you guys really question if Worst won Prize A. He scored freakin' 99.88 points for prize purposes!

Ok I understand, I say we get a whole separate division just for aliens cuz worst is starting to make D1 look like a walk in the park compared to the rest of us

What the hey, I'll suggest the 2000GT from the dealership. Have at it Worst ;)

You'll have to pair if with a track if you want it to be a valid suggestion for him to choose. Remember, you're suggesting a Prize A for him, not a Prize B. :)

EDIT: Like JoeW just did! 👍

Thankyou :)... Since rickybobbys chose the integra 👍 👍 👍 Il go for the 2000GT at trial mountain reverse

Oops, my bad. In that case, 2000GT at Nurb GP/D

Edit: Changed my mind. I promise I'll only do that once ;)

Garagefather,

Please read this post. Specifically the point about not discussing incidents in the public thread.

I understood the risks and will accept any penalty admin sees fit. I take responsibility for what I do. There are others in this league like me. Respect.👍

One thing to consider.....

In the immortal words of John Rambo, "they drew first blood."

Stewards, I'd like to call your attention to the post I just made in the stewards forum.. As Rally recently mentioned, our rule that prohibits discussing race incidents in public has been getting ignored more and more lately. I think this may be due to the fact that we've never had to "lay down the law" simply because our warnings about this behavior were enough to deter it. However, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

Therefore, I'd like to create a penalty system that puts an end to this. It needs to be simple, but have enough teeth so that people really think hard before making the decision to air out their laundry on the thread. Please go to the stewards forum to add your comments and suggestions. Thanks.

Last sunday i had to leave during race 4 because everything around me was lagging, smoke clouds and screaming tires until i was rammed outta track by God knows what.
I'm terribly competitive and situations like that drive me mad and kill the groove.
I wanted to put my vote in anyways but apparently is a little too late... no biggie.

As a suggestion, i would love to race Ferraris one of this days and since we already had the 458 Italia a couple of months ago and the California a good month and a half ago i would like to mention the 430 scuderia or the gorgeous 599.

My suggestion is the vw golf VI R 10 at cape ring south. That way we have rear front and all wheel drive. The vw handles pretty good too.

Unfortunately, This car, the Scirroco, the Mini '11, and GT-R Black Mask are not eligible.

I'll wait until 9PM East for the suggestions. (From D1 guys who raced last sunday of course)

Screw it, I'm making my choice in a couple of minutes. 💡

Could i join?

Hey Vwpolo6n8v,

You'd be more than welcome to join, but your profile suggests you're from England. We race at 9:30 or 10:00 P.M. EDT Sunday nights. That'll be 2:30 or 3:00 A.M. BST.

Are you able to race that early?

Cheers

I will race some Italian beasts with you anytime. Just name the time.:)

ah okay, no worries, is there anyone, or any champs you know round gmt time? cheers

I know VBR will have some great racing you could join in on. His GTplanet handle is VBR. Send him a PM and say you were sent from snail. Very clean races when he is in charge.:)

Thanks for the suggestion Speed, very nice combo. 👍
Old cars are just more fun than their modern counterparts and this sweet looking ride is no exception.
Great car/track combo, Trial Mountain with a slower car should makes up for some close racing. 👍

EDIT: Car is on sports hards obviously (It would have been so awesome with comforts softs) and it doesn't need breaking in, just an oil change and off you go.

That's funny, I just happened to have bought this 2 days ago.

On a some what related note. How do I claim prize C? Sorry if it's been covered. I tried looking but must have missed it.

ok thanks worst, I thought that was probably it.

Could I get the '67 B-day ticket.
And a level 24 please (I never claimed my prize from last week)
:dunce::drool:

There is definitely no hard line rule of OCD cars not needing breaking in. My FGT did not hit 900pp until I broke it in. So there must be a few exceptions to the rule.

The only DLC cars we can use came in the racing car pack or were free and still available in the store. Car pack 2 and car pack 3 along with the three .99 cars are not eligible. This would mean that the newest VWs and the '11 mini Handlebar mentioned would not be able to be chosen to race. The Black Mask GT-R however would be able as it came with the game at release. I think he meant to say the Black Edition GT-R.
