still cant believe how hard i failed in race 2 at spa last night. felt like a world beater passing about 5 people in one lap with the lap time still being better than my qualifying lap. worked my way all the way up to second place by the last section of the last lap, but i got a little too hot. ran nose first, straight as a missile into the wall, and got passed by all 8 of the people i passed on the way to the front with 5 seconds of the 20 second penalty to spare. that happened...

I'm gonna wait for a few more D5'ers to throw in their suggestion. But i gotta ask; why do D1 drivers hate race cars so much? D1 voted heavily to eliminate the racing combo i chose last week. u always vote off race cars as opposed to street cars. This is racing after all! Why all the lame cars? Are u actually not that good at racing race cars? Just curious...

Awesome pics Wolf. I love the edit feature in photobucket. Lots of very cool filters. The sharpen and enhance features are really nice for photos that don't come out of GT5 the way I want them. Keep up the outstanding work. Can't wait to get back to creating some photo posts for the thread.

BTW: It would be kind of cool to make a "best of" album for the end of each season. Maybe a movie slide show type of thing if we could get pics from each division.

You're right, Laguna Seca is great. I'm more worried about other's choices. Simply hearing Deep Forest, Trial Mountain, or Cape Ring makes me want to puke. I would gladly give up my pick if the prize A winner picked a real life track. If not, expect an FF.

Seriously though, I find racing on slicks too grippy unless we're racing overpowered cars like the Zonda R or the ZR1 RM. I prefer my cars with a tendency to oversteer instead of understeer. That's why I hate race cars with too much grip and FWD cars.

I agree to a point. Having less grip is more fun, but it seems to generate more on-track incidents. To me, more grip=closer racing=more fun for everyone.
