. Think I'll be calling my ISP and pitching a fit since its supposed to be 50mbps, not less then 30. I was getting 24 before we moved and bumped up our service. 3 megs doesn't justify the price hike.

Very true... Is that wireless, hard wire out of the router or direct out of the modem?? The first thing your ISP will do is send out a low level installer. He will try to hang it on your router. Run the speed test directly out of the modem and try several different servers. Keep a log of all of the speeds. Then if the speeds aren't up to snuff, call and start throwing a fit and do it regularly. Ask for supervisors and any management you can. It is a pain but eventually they will get tired of hearing about it do something about it. In the mean time it creates a "paper" trail that helps get account credit at the end of the month! Oh and also watch out for the "UP TO" 50M speeds speech...

Anybody got lap times for Round 1 and Round 3? Since we tried out a new format with longer races on Wednesday night, nobody posted the lap counts for the usual 10+ minute races. However, with cheeb's chart above we can better estimate the lap count based on typical lap times. 👍

It's hooked up directly to the router. Lucky we have the service on a good deal. All the same.this is not what I'm paying for, so they will be getting annoyed by me. I've tested it on probably 10 servers last night. The only result that changed much was ping. Oddly it seems the further the server, the better it got. I live pretty much in lansing and got 84ms on the lansing server. I do expect to hear lots of excuses, especially that it's my line inside or my equipment, but I'm pretty positive it has more to do with comcast capping bandwidth. My father worked for them for years and I was a low voltage electrician and did some work for them, the typical installer is barely capable of running lines, let alone actually troubleshoot and diagnose. I'll give it a whirl through just the modem, but I'm not expecting to see a tangible difference.

Thanks Wolf. I struggled to get gold with my craptastic tune. When I finally did, decided to head over to the seasonal threads and found this tune and shaved about 4 seconds off my best. There is a couple of others there as well but I don't have the energy to try them out.

Don't know if I'll bother with the scooby TT. Apparently the tire hackers are destroying the leaderboards and PD may be resetting everything.

as long as you can put up those numbers when racing you'll be good to go; but hot lapping and racing are 2 different things.

People tend to like it as long as you are racing very clean drivers. Apparently the slightest touch can send you off spinning into a wall. It sounds like people are having some fun with it (for what it is). I'm gonna try this puppy out tonight after work.
