Yeah I basically log in on Sunday, buy the necessary cars, run either the 30min Sarthe or the 15 lap Sardegna for 7-800k to replenish cash…and then race and I’m done.

this game sure is pretty but I just have so little desire to play it

If it wasn’t for the snail groupies that I’ve had the pleasure to drive along with over the last eight years?…. This 25th anniversary edition would’ve been left on my exhaust manifold!

My personal set up, either with my DD pro or Logitech is just not fun. With both sim wheels my brakes lock up after releasing the pedal! 🤣💩
The month spent back on gts, whether you love or hate it, was simple and enjoyable! I do it for the enjoyment, and if I’m not enjoying something, or see limited progression. I will move on…

We bought into something that I believed as being a growth and development of the GT series from PD. I see very little in the way of promising updates over the last few months….
Biggest game purchase let down I’ve made in quite sometime. The last one may have been on tape!

I figure if you have an issue asked for help and get the fix you need. Not bash what you don't understand, and others enjoy. As far as advancement of GT, game 7 is what was actually advertised it would be. Whose fault is it if you spend your extra money on this then.

Our nice little forum here is sure to find issues and workarounds as needed. Ask and ye may receive?

Seemingly you’re not reading the thousands of comments from disillusioned purchasers of this product. It’s also kind and appreciative if you give those within snail, some whom are your piers and colleagues the ability to voice their concerns, as it maybe a helpful way to gain support and advice.

Announcement from the BoD

Over this weekend, we will be finalizing the changes that we will need to make to get GT7 working.

A couple of items have already been discussed and finalized.

1. We will utilize a rolling start. The host / division manager will call out the grid order during a formation lap and the lead car will start the race at a pre-determined point on the track. This point will be determined on a track to track basis. This will mean that all drivers will need to have access to the party chat with the ability to listen for instructions. Work on your settings, both chat and privacy for the purpose of invites, and get it ironed out before the first race night of the June season.

2. Traction control will be allowed for the time being. A glitch has been observed that allows TC to be on even when it's set to prohibited in the room. It appears to be random but as long as that is a problem, it could create an advantage or disadvantage to the affected player. By allowing it to be used, it can be adjusted by everyone and nobody is stuck with a setting they don't want and the rest of the group can't have.

3. A "new" time trial will be published on Saturday. Once this is published, everyone will need to run it and submit a time.

4. We will continue with the format from the test night. One track and three cars on matching tires. This has to be done for now because nothing can be changed in the lobby.

More updates will be forthcoming as the details are hammered out.

Real cool that my podium came on Wednesday.

Played around the settings and I have it feeling alright.

I had it up to 100% on control panel and 10/10 in game and it was still drivable. That shouldn’t be the case.

We are going to do something a little different to select the first official combos on GT7.

The three drivers that were active for the trial nights that have the most race nights over the history of SNAIL will be the prize winners and will choose the combos. After the first week, we will go back to our regualar method of having prize winners based on results.

We will continue to alternate between using race tires and sport or comfort tires each week. All cars will need to run on the same compound each week as we still can't change lobby settings. The first week will be race tires.

Prize A will be @Nicktune and he will need to choose a car that uses race tires as well as the track for this week.
Prize B and C will be @racingchamp30 and @JamCar0ne and they will both choose a car that will be used for the other two combos.

@Nicktune must make his selection within 24 hours or we will select the 4th place guy and move everyone else up one spot.
