Asked ChatGPT and it gave me a rather elegant solution.

Check it out now please. Also, I found out you can use the left and right cursor arrows on your PC keyboard to move between the slides.
Yes, that works. Also found swiping up and down on the touch pad thing a ma bob switches pages too.

I have updated both SNAIL Scorekeeping 101 and SNAIL Data Entry 101 files. Please have a look and let me know if anything looks amiss or could be improved.

Thank you.
I really appreciate that you place the drivers in the same order of the grid list. It helps for setting up starting positions for the first race.

Speaking of data, I won’t be able to attend this sunday night. Someone will need to host and take care of scores and data. I’ll be back on november 10th.

@JamCar0ne kinda bummed to miss your wild combo of the old Charger @ Tsukuba.

Considering the car, it would have made more sense on confort mediums or softs. Stock tires are always better ;)

I’ll create the D1 thread for the november season by the end of the week. You guys have fun !

Niagara's Weekly "What I Saw" column
241027 Edition:

We had 7 drivers in D1 and a further 9 drivers in D2 this past Sunday. The month of October, saw a total of 20 drivers participate across both divisions. I saw a couple of new names show interest in joining us in the last few days, hopefully they follow through with their TT's.
@altippy31 and @Pran01dDroid - If clean competitive racing across multiple divisions is what you're looking for, you've come to the right spot.

Combo#1:
My Combo #1 group shot includes another low flying helicopter. Might be hard to see but he's clearing the power lines by less than 10 ft. Who's issuing flying permits to this guy?

I apologized ahead of time in our D1 lobby that I might struggle a little bit as I'm in the process of converting from a 1-footed driver to a 2-footed driver and the process has been painful at times.

After yet another off-track adventure, I came spinning back on track and didn't ghost in time to avoid contact with @socalnatv .
Sorry about that Sand. (I applied a filter in this pic for the first time, highlighted the grass clippings, kinda cool)

I settled in a bit after Combo#1.

Combo#2:
Maybe my favorite of the evening and it provided for the whole grid to stay relatively close.

@DublDee , myself and @Kgffy , nose to tail flying down the back straight during C2R1. I recall us in this Mustang earlier this year. I remember @Kgffy 's license place and commenting that he would never be issued that plate if he lived in Ontario.

Usually, following @Nicktune 's line is a very safe path to quicker lap times. @Worst_Driver and @Dragonwhisky are 100% committed to his lines in this pic during C2R2. If it's good enough for @Nicktune , it's good enough for them.

Check out this battle, on lap 11 of 13 between @Kgffy , @DublDee , @Worst_Driver and @Nicktune .

Combo #3:
Group shot.

This race marshal was quick to whip out his yellow flag when @socalnatv got too quick on the accelerator.

Perhaps the funny moment of the night. On the final lap and running 3rd, about 60 ft from the checkered flag, @Kgffy got it a little wrong exiting the last chicane and gifted me the cheesiest podium I ever earned. He commented afterwards that he thought about putting it into reverse to see if he could have hung onto 3rd.
Would have been a 2024 highlight in my opinion had he pulled it off.

My fun battle of the night occurred with @Dragonwhisky . He made a beautiful pass on me on lap 4 on the back straight. I managed to keep him within a second and regain the spot on the front straight of lap 5. I got it stopped in time this week. I attempted the same pass last week at the same spot and missed the corner. I take it as a sign of improvement.

That's how I saw last Sunday. Apologies if you saw it any other way. Thanks for your patience.
See you at the Car-Show.

Data can be entered after the races right? I’ve gotten into the habit of capturing the relevant screen pics after all of our races.

I only have a certain amount of brain power to utilize simultaneously.
Yes you can just take a photo of the results screen and add the full data after the races. As long as you input the finishing positions, the fastest laps and the votes you’re good.

Of the 2 "jobs" scoring is the more critical. Not sure how @Worst_Driver manages to host, score and get data all night of but, we've already determined he's extraterrestrial in origin so, maybe that's it.

My entry to this week's Car-Show takes me to Detroit, Michigan.

On November 3rd, 1911, two brothers from Switzerland that carried the last name Chevrolet, teamed up with an American and founded the Chevrolet Motor Car Company in Detroit. Perhaps unfortunate that we don't have a Chevy in this week's lineup.

Is anybody else having an issue with the pp at Tsukuba? My charger is at 522.96 but I can't get in with it set anywhere below 528pp.

I'm glad we get to run the '68 charger this week. Oww yea Mopar! Nice choice @JamCar0ne
The lobby should be set at 528pp. The car will set at 527.79 with required tires.

See you Sunday.
If I remember correctly Chevrolet’s logo was inspired from an Hotel in France in the early 20th century.

This shot is looking north, over Coal Harbour, from Vancouver's downtown, towards the north shore mountains. I had to place the cars so you could see the yellow pile in the background. It is sulphur that is shipped to wherever sulphur is shipped to. If I look out my balcony slider when sitting in my driving rig I can see that pile. Mind you I am located on the top of a hill some 16 km to the right of where this shot was taken.

This must be a new scape background, I’ve never seen that one.

In all seriousness, nice Civic. Those ones are long gone from our salty roads up north.
Lol thanks. I've had the car for about 20 years, and it lives inside except for a few days a year lately. I did use the car a lot in the past running national solo and time trials. Drove the car to Topeka and Lincoln for SCCA solo national championships. With somewhere around 500 wins, it's probably the winningest example of the car in amateur motorsports that is still in original competition trim, unless Joel Lipperini's car is still around. Won a lot of regional jackets in the car, and in 2013 I was fortunate enough to spend a bunch of time with Stirling Moss at Lime Rock, and he signed my current championship jacket at the time.

Nowadays it comes out for a rare fun event. Yesterday was the last day of the yeat before Lime Rock tears up pit lane to extend it for Nascar trucks next year. They broke ground this morning. The weather was beautiful, nearly 80°, so I couldn't resist taking the car out for the last open track sessions of the year. The motor makes more power than my race car, but the rest of car is still in showroom stock trim. Konis and brake pads, that's it. It's very soft and the steering rack is very slow, it was a great study in getting back to basics and managing weight. It's a lot more slippery than my race car and makes way more power up top, so even though it's about 10mph slower coming out of the downhill, it's only 2-3 mph slower in trap at the end of the following straight. But my 86 Monte Carlo daily driver is stiffer lol.

I did throw the gopro in the car, and one of these days I'll get all my videos up on youtube from 2024.

PP of 522 seems low. Does it need an oil change?
I'll check again in a little bit, (currently running an empty Michelin Pilot Cup practice lobby) but I can't figure out why its showing a lower value in the description yet must have 528pp set to get in the room. Racing Mediums are installed. I did change front bumper and wing body pieces so that could be it, I guess. I just bought this car a few days ago because the one I had already has a hellcat motor swap. :D

Aero bits often lower your PP, they produce drag and slow you down, I guess. Better in the corners? Probably. My Charger was too high until I reverted to the stock side configuration, which added an aerial. Lowered my PP to quoted 527.x. Increased drag. 😅

I went through the body parts menu and expiremented. With the big front valance (dont like the look), the big wing (again, not a fan), and the rear lower aero fins it sat at 527.78. I am running the regular front bumper minus the support beams, a deleted radio antenna (the exhaust is my soundtrack lol) and the small rear wing that just bumps up at the end of the trunk ( No rear lower change from stock as the way I read it in the OLR, only front, side and wing are allowed. ) Still sitting at 522.96. Oil is great and I'm running a homemade livery. Stock rim offset, size, and width. I'm usually spot on with the pp numbers this is the first time I've seen a discrepancy. It's not a big deal though, I just chalk it up to a bug in the game. Pretty sure it's not gonna make or break the race for me, lol.
