An enjoyable night's racing was had despite the fact we only had a small field of 7 turn up on the night. It appears Mammys wouldn't let some of the boys out to play!

Congrats to @MSgtGunny for the win on the night. 3 race wins helped him on his way to his first overall win since joining SNAIL with more to come I'm sure.

The "Could'a been a Contender" Award goes to our resident (and prolific) photographer, @Gouletzky. He missed the first 2 races but then proceeded to place 2nd in each of the remaining 4 races (which also won him the "Always the Bridesmaid" Award) and posted the fastest lap in 3 of those 4 races. 👍

Six of the seven who raced on the night placed on the podium and the only one who didn't posted 2 of the night's fastest laps so honours all round!

Many (or maybe I should say major) thanks to @MajorBlixem for providing me with the tools to produce the nice layout above.

As the co-series director , we are happy to announce the formation of the new Project CARS World Road Racing Challange! Taking the lessons learned from both the RCS and TCS series, we bring you the first official SNAIL weekly series using the new Project CARS platform.

The new Project CARS World Road Racing Challange takes the best from both TCS and RCS as this 4 week per season will feature three 25 minute races each week using different classification of racing cars each week on some of the best tracks Project CARS has to offer.

Below are some of the following detials

• Season 1 starts Tuesday June 9th, 2015
• Tuesday Nights starting @ 8:00pm eastern (KOQ) with Main Event starting @ 9:00pm eastern
• Season 1 Schedule - Nurburgring Sprint, Watkins Glen Short, Dubai Autodrome International & Le Circuit Bugatti
• Season 1 Car - BMW M3 Gr.A (E30)

We are now accepting new drivers by signing up at the official World Road Racing Challange thread in the Project Cars Sub-forum here at GTPlanet

The first season starts in a couple and would love to have some quality SNAILS join the fun. Space is limited so if your interested, don't delay.

If you have any questions about the series, please let me know. Hope to see you on the track.

Ah..what the heck... put me down for reserve / second room. Haven't turned on my PS3 since last Sunday so I should be totally unprepared and ready to make an a** of myself!

I think we have enough people now to make two rooms. The reserve drivers alone is 12 people now.

But I also wanted to say it might be 11 because I might not be there tonight. I decided to take a chance and ask a random girl out and she called me back. We've been texting back and forth and she gets out of work at 9 so I think I'm gonna be caught up talking to her.

A quick update. We are out of the race. Our first driver, my cousin JC, hit a patch of oil or antifreeze going into the ankle of the boot and spun and hit the wall pretty hard on the driver's side, then the car rebounded off the tire wall and rolled.

He's fine. The safety of the car, the roll cage and the seat did their job. But the car is done for now. Sheared off the engine mounts and broke the distributor. Replaced the distributor so it starts and runs fine, but a lot of damage on the driver's side, some on the roof and the right front tire/tie rod is not good.

SNAIL has always been a console group, and @zer05ive has already mentioned that it will stay on the console. I know lots of people have bought PCars on PC though, so having all of our SNAIL friends on PC racing together would be encouraged, you just won't find an official SNAIL backed series.
