Sounds like we had some great racing tonight!! As I mentioned earlier, tonight was the last night of the ButtKicker Challenge III. While we wait for the final ButtKicker points and finalists to be determines, please post any suggestions on how we should determine the random drawing. We usually use fast laps of F1 races or races that Nick McMillen is in, but both the F1 season and Blancplain Endurance Series are now over. :(

Also, I wanted to let everyone know what we have a new challenge starting next Sunday night. Scroll down if you want a hint.. :D

Yeah, pretty much everything is off season, even the WRC ads Rally America are done for the year. Might have to pick a football game or something.

Try this:

http://www.randomresult.com/ticket.php

You can set it up to draw automaticly at a specific date ... at type "pick item" just enter the names and set 1 winner ... you can share ticketnumber on the forum so everybody can check for themselfs who won,
Instead of relying on a Post only.

Hi everyone, I've been looking forward to join a racing club/league for quite some time and everyone has pointed me at SNAIL so...

This is is, my official request to be a SNAIL and have fun with you all!

I don't have much online experience but always try to do my best to drive clean.

As a side note, does SNAIL have an official GT6 Community Club?

@DGuzmanG

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the SNAIL OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. Send a PSN friend request to the Race Director or Primary Host from your assigned SNAIL Division. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below. Now if you've actually read this, post a :dunce: in this thread.

6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.
If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

As a side note, does SNAIL have an official GT6 Community Club?

We do indeed. We are currently in the process of migrating the league's drivers to Club Lobby racing and hope to have it ready for the beginning of the December Season. Joining the club will become one of, if not the last, step in joining SNAIL. Follow the instructions from nmcp1 above, and it may be you get to be our guineau pig for the planned join process changes.

Also, I see from your GTP avatar information, you are in South America. It would be good if you could do some speedtest.net and pingtest.net test to servers in New York, Florida and Washington and post the results. We have had a few drivers join us from South American Countries and while 1 or 2 have had the connection capable of playing, on the whole their experiences were troublesome in regards to network issues.

Yeah, same with me. That's why if for some reason Sunday nights get longer is a disaster for me.
Bayou... What a life dude.... I wish

You were so right! That Beemer is one amazing piece of machinery ! Really fun to drive at Spa! Got a second and a 5th, but D4 heavily voted for 2 :odd::odd: Hope it sticks another week.

Gran Turismo would be so cool with a livery editor, just imagine all the premium cars would be "skinable"

I really wonder why they don't even acknowledge this as a potential thing at PD. Forza set the console high water mark, NFS games have gone pretty deep in that area, and pc games are wide open for it- so I wonder if it's another Japanese culture/sensibility thing?

I'm sure they just don't want a bunch of Hitler-mobiles or penis monsters all over the open lobbies, lol.

I'm not sure the reasoning as to why it's not been implemented. My guess is that the ps3 is already overly taxed without adding in entities to track livery. But PD has acknowledged that people want a livery editor and they may include one down the road. My guess is that you will see one for gt7.

I don't need full decal but at least give me some 2 tone options even my pink color change paint stays pretty mono tone
