The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - BMW M5 '05 (Sport Soft tires) at Circuit de Spa Francorchamps -
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @turnupdaheat wins Prize A, they get to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - West Surrey Racing, 1983 Ayrton Senna (Racing Hard tires) at Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit '80s -
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Dr_Strange gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @DMacs13 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history or other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated,so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more importantis that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, no car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Car Selection Guidelines
Dealership Cars - The maximum price for a selected car is now $1,000,000
DLC Cars - Only DLC cars that are FREE and currently still available in the PlayStation Store can be selected.

Track Selection Guidelines
Any non-DLC track can be selected as long as a single lap with the car combo'd with it would not take more than five minutes to complete. For example, don't select anything that includes the Nurburgring's Nordschleife.

Race Date: 30 November 2014
Currently tracking 13 Incident Reports

We have at least one prize winner with a racing incident being investigated by the stewards. This may, obviously, change the order of the prizes to be selected. All winners are asked to refrain from making selections until the Weekly Steward's report has been posted.

The target deadline for the Steward Reviews, this week, is Wednesday night by 10PM Eastern. The Steward Summary will be posted as soon as possible, following completion of reviews.

:@: SNAIL Stewards, please make your way to The Incident Review Scoring.

The IR Submission Form is now closed.

Good news! I got the PVR working on my laptop and have successfully recorded a test video. I am confident that streaming will work now as well. The video came out at a wonderful 1080i, which is the norm on youtube anyway, so we should have some SNAIL footage coming soon.

Also, just an idle question while we wait and ponder results and combos. Who here has a beer bottle collection? Is that just me? I have roughly 50 different bottles, mostly beer and nothing common or overly mainstream. I'll post a pic if anyone is interested. I have them on the top of the cabinets in the kitchen, but the wife isn't so savvy on that so I am looking for a way to relocate them into my den.

When I hit 1,000 bottles...my wife made me make choices.

I chose wisely. However, I no longer collect bottles.

If a wonderful woman asks you to make a choice (and she is your wife, mother of your children), choose very, very, wisely, my friend.

Totally worth it.

It was an action-packed night in D3. I had forgotten how awesome it is to race with a full grid. We even had to move some part-time drivers to different divisions. D3 is full of good fun!

It was an efficient night with minor, if any, lag issues or glitches. We did have some people showing up in the previous car on-track but that was quickly fixed. Combos 1, 2, and 3 had some dominant hot lappers, with @gtr3123, @JLBowler, and @Bryds taking Pole Position and both Fast Laps in each of those combos, respectively.

Congrats to @turnupdaheat for the unofficial win, and @MartinJohn88 following closely behind minus 2 points. @Bryds finished the night in 3rd despite missing an entire race.

Thanks to all in D3 for your patience while I entered scores. The last D3 scorekeeper @kadrek usually finished in 1st place so he had some more time to get data entered quickly (something that I am not blessed with as a mid-pack driver!). Plus with a full grid and a slightly laggy spreadsheet, I was scrambling to get things entered in time. I can't say that I'll be any faster next time but thanks again for your patience.

Thanks for the fun night of racing, D3!

Thanks to @nmcp1 for the nice layout!

TV just went POP! Time to replace the bulb. Hoping it is just the bulb and not ballast or even worse whole optical unit. Keeping fingers crossed.

What are the TTs for? I thought they were just up for practice time.
Since the way Club Events work is not suitable for our Sunday League night, the TTs are for practice and a way to use the Club Events that can be somewhat relevant to how we race here. They are also a way for Snails, who may not be able to race during our regular scheduled racing, can rack up a time and compare it to others.

There will be some modifications to how they are set up going forward, such as the Race Auto Start will be removed so, if the Event host wants to, they can start the TT whenever they please, with or without other drivers, and the glitch where, if no one has signed up (in the pit or on the track) before the race start timer expires, the race start timer does not reset.

I've been monkeying around with these tonight. Can a room be joined? Or are they just one person rooms? The only message I get is "Club Events are currently underway. Why not create a room where those participating can enter?

If I create a room, nobody joins, and eventually I get disconnected after the first TT.

My uncle has over 300 bottles from all over the world different bottles, brands, colours, long neck, short neck, if it was weird or unusual he got it

You will be racing at 0330 hrs on your Monday morning, if your city and flag is protraying your location correctly. If that's not a problem, we'd like to see some connection tests to US east cost and west coast servers using speedtest.net and pingtest.net. Thanks.
Ok I will do the test,so the races will be every sunday at same time,21:30 EST? Is that means no sleep for me if I want to race with you guys...

SNAIL Color and Number Chart

This post contains the rules governing color and number choice and instructions on requesting a choice.

While choosing a color and number combo is not required, we ask that all of our races to do so. This is done for a number of reasons. From easier driver identification to adding uniqueness in a spec race series. Here are a couple of rules, tips and instructions on submitting your choice.

The rules:
  1. The driver with a greater number of races participated in has seniority over a racer with less, giving them rights to a particular color/number.
Tip: Have another color in mind just in case.
  2. Any color and any combo is allowed, so long as it does not match or present a hard distinction from another driver in your division.
Tip: Look at the divisions above and below, if you or another who is looking to be promoted and they hold seniority, be prepared to switch colors.
  3. Please try not to duplicate numbers with another racer across the series.
  4. Please, enter a paint chip and not a general color. (IE, WC Mica Blue, as opposed to Blue) This will insure that we get the maximum amount of use of hues in any given color.

Instructions:
  1. Read the current Color/Number Chart first!
  2. First decide on a body and rim color combo.
  3. Next click HERE and fill out the form
  4. To find when your SNAIL start date. Column Y "SNAIL birth date"

The most current lists:
Sorted by Division

If you are in a different division than what is currently listed, it would be helpful to submit a new form, even if you don't change your color or number.

Special thanks to @Rallywagon for being the previous Color / Number Coordinator.

The above post is a repost, from here.

Do we have to re fill out the entire form if we want to, lets say, just change the number?

I've been monkeying around with these tonight.
No monkeys man. We got enough of them messing around with connections.

Can a room be joined?
Yes

Or are they just one person rooms?
No

The only message I get is "Club Events are currently underway.
You must click the Club Events, Select the event you want to run, click the Sign up button, then a Rooms button will show up, click that, if no rooms appear in the list, click create room and start your own. I think you already know how to do this.

Why not create a room where those participating can enter?
Whomever creates the room becomes the host, same as an open lobby. The difference here is, most of the room settings are pre-defined and are not changeable.

If I create a room, nobody joins, and eventually I get disconnected after the first TT.
Don't know why you would be getting DCed after a TT gets done. Probably something to do with that Auto Start bug (feature). It will be disabled in future TT events.

The thought of that makes me gag as I sit here drinking my black coffee, but i do understand that is the only way to make a Timmies coffee drinkable:D
