It's funny you say that, and it speaks volumes about the editing, I have raced with "temper tantrum" for the last year and a half in other rooms and he is a great guy. We have a lot of laughs and the room is lively yet competitive...alot like the PP Cap rooms.
Editing can turn Ghandi into a warmonger if done right.

The editing can and has made things look different than reality (funny since it's a "reality" show). In some cases they took mistakes made on our practice run and made them look like our fast runs. The rally was a good example of this as by time I came in 3rd or 4th but they made it look like I wasn't even close by showing my practice run. Also with Bill his spin was on the practice run. In the oval race they showed things out of order and failed to show Patrick smashing into me right before I spun him. It's always interesting to watch the show and see what they show because it's not always exactly what happened. All in all though I think they did a good job.

I read that it was raised to 50 million. I think the 46 I have should keep me in the black for a while. I don't need to spend more than a shade over 100k on any car. I also already have all the suits and helmets.

@jobyone From GT5. One thing I noticed, you can now lock the wheels up when you drop a gear and dump the clutch, it doesn't just match gears now. I actually have only raced using the clutch and h-gate, and unless the car is actually a paddle shift I will be sticking to this the whole time. Official H-gate shift club! I also tend to miss less shifts than GT5. I actually find that I shift to fast. It takes some practice to get the timing down in each car, at least until you start tuning the drivetrain.
You know, I think I am going to rant a bit, I do so love doing that. I think for GT7, they should completely divorce online from all the other aspects of the game. I think at least a large majority should be available for online use right away. For the very reason we are struggling right now with credit limits and what not, and then make career mode in the typical gt style. They can even keep their micro transaction crap. Leave all other aspects of the game as is. Just finish the separation and allow us a full, usable, tunable, functioning garage so that leagues aren't in the outs when the new game breaks. I know this would have kept me from using the trick, and I would, and still am, play the career mode. Especially the special events like goodwood!

Why am I not shocked that my arms and chest are just a wee bit sore... I am so excited about next Sundays League night! I am growing tired (no I'm not!) of battling robots. I am really looking forward to racing with you guys. I really had intended to give Karts a try tonight but I wasn't watching the time and had decided to make another quick trip to the "ATM" (*ahem*)...

Just wanted to drop a note and let everyone know I'll be racing in the Chumpcar race at Laguna Seca this weekend, so if anyone is in the area stop by and say hi. I'm in the #30 Miata P.I. car this weekend (so we probably won't win, but should be fun). Also if anyone is up for a challenge try to predict our fastest laptime by using GT6 (I've been using it to practice). Its a miata with a 1.8L engine and some "go fast" mods that is on moderately sticky street tires (some where between comfort softs and sports hards in the game). I'll send a GranStand shirt out to whoever gets closest (1 guess per person).
