ok, Im getting things set up for the shuffle race now, however, I may not be racing long. ITs been a long week and Im not quite feeling well. So I maybe only be on for an hour or less.

I have a room up for breaking in PDI Racing Karts, I'm doing races at Autumn Ring Mini in preparation. I'll be doing anything up from 17-50 laps depending how many people I get in the room.

I noticed how much I have learned, of all things, in the Seasonals. I don't mind the cash. I used to regularly fail the timed challenges. Now, it is waaaay easier and almost intuitive on what to do, not do. And I run the A-spec Races clean because I have started learning how to race. Thanks, Sharkie! Terrific pics, btw. Out race us, out camera-fy most of us... What do you NOT do well? ;-)
Now, once we wrap up school, I shall endeavor to set up the wheel of dread.

I'm glad you have been learning, and using the skills I've been teaching in other racing challenges like the seasonal events. It's nice to know that you are retaining the information and applying it to other turns and you picked up on that just like I had hoped you would. :teary eyes: ...they grow-up so fast. LOL
Thank you for the comments on the photos, I had thought they were overlooked. LOL Yes, the are something I cannot do well or at all - It's no secret, I have no real people skills.

Magic Lap Racing tonight in the open lobby.
Corvettes at Laguna Seca again, for anyone who missed it last week due to vacation. Slight change to the timing of it too: since the themed races take so long to set up and it's best to do the same race many times to avoid redoing the timing, themed races will be for most of the night, not just the first hour. If we get sick of the track near the end, we can change, but usually people start to filter out at midnight and the last few races are pretty lame. Maybe we'll have a few open weeks every once in a while and stick to the theme every other night.
Also, I'll be uploading some photos from last weeks and hopefully this week's races when I get around to it.

Dude, Psycho, whomever else, anyone want to take a crack at making a banner for the July Experiment I am putting together? It needs a name, too.
SNAIL GT Championship (SGTC?)
SNAIL Touring Car Championship (STCC?)
SNAIL Tuned Car Series (STCS?)
Or any variation on those. Could also be named without "SNAIL" in it, since it doesn't have the SNAIL divisions.
Tuned Touring Series (TTS?)
I don't know. Ideas?
And if anyone is interested, we really need more drivers. I'd like to get up to eight. I'd really like to get up to 12.

Personally, I think the name should focus on what make the series unique. Namely, the fact that there are "constructors" and that we will be racing in teams. Then again, perhaps those two words are a bit redundant since a constructor's championship is the same thing as a team championship. How about some like:

It took me a while to figure that out.

But, I get it now.
Aside from that, I was going to join tonight for some more practice, but work paged. The iSeries went sideways and they have to do an IPL. This, at the same time the telecommunications guys were doing maintenance and taking down the entire phone system.
I've already been paged once, and they will page me again shortly, I'm sure.
