So if I have my original disk (I do)...I can just delete my game data (not my save) and do the glitch all over again?

I don't think it's that simple. I could be wrong but I believe you have to have the 1.01 update somewhere, so it can be applied while offline. So long as your game doesn't get any patch beyond 1.01 you can do that glitch.

Just practiced the art corvette ... you guys really running it on sports soft?
I like the challenge of a raw egg but one quick try to dodge a car in trouble infront and youre gone aswell

This question has been on my mind for a while, are rally tracks allowed in snail? Because I was doing some rallying with @Handlebar earlier today and we had a blast in some of the lower pp classes, even the Elise was a good fit for the slidy surfaces of eiger.

I think that a rally course would be a great challenge for all SNAIL drivers including myself. For example, having one of the Mitsubishi or Subaru rally cars at the track to see how it goes.

I'd think that we'd have to start with a lower pp road car and slowly increase the speed of the cars if people enjoyed the challenge

Yea, rally is tough in GT6. In real rally they use the handbrake as just another tool. It's hydraulically controlled so they can manually control how much the rear wheels are braking and control how much the car rotates. We can't do that, so it's really hard with the higher powered rally cars. In general I love watching rally but it's too hard on me and the wheel to enjoy doing myself.

If you guys want to do a rally race, start a SNAIL rally series. The visibility issue is too much to have to deal with on a Sunday night with a full or nearly full room.

Daytona SS will have some differences.

We will be using the rolling start 2x option.

Penalties will be off for all divisions so as not to turn bump drafting into a ghost passing festival.

The yellow line is out of bounds. If you put any part of your car below the yellow line and improve your position in the process, you must give back the spot or you will be subject to a shortcutting penalty. The only exception to this is if you are avoiding an on track accident.

Under no circumstances are you to force another car below the yellow line. If you push up the track there is a better than average chance that someone (maybe four someones) are going to be inside of you. You are not to cut back across their line. You have just made a mistake and must rejoin the line when it's safe to do so.

Challenger

But 199 in the Challenger and 204 in the Charger?
And the Charger could fit my family (5)

If you want a manual.... challenger
If you want speed.... charger
If you want drag time....challenger
If you want space.... charger
If you want sexy exhaust.... challenger
If you want gas mileage... charger
If you want styling.... challenger (personal opinion)
If you want comfort.... charger
Bottom line. Chose the challenger and leave a family member behind.
