My TV went poof last night while i was sorting pictures. I will try to connect an older monitor to finish the sorting and then post.
Were you behind me at Brands Hatch when I started fishtailing at like 120mph but managed to save it? That was definitely "puckering"

I like the Ranch coffee at the Silver Star Café in Roby, Texas.
Made by boiling the grounds in a white sock overnight ........ perfect the next morning.
In USAF survival training in Western Montana they gave us arctic ration packs from WW2...which included little hard bricks of coffee...they also gave us an old tin pot. We melted snow...threw in the bricks of java...et voila....the absolute best coffee EVER. I have been searching for that aroma and taste for over 40 years...none of the artsy fhartsy blends or makers have anything close to that WW2 blend...or perhaps it was the environment and the cold.....who knows. We make our own 1/2 decaf with cock full of nuts hi test and Folgers Colombian decaf...much better than the LIGHT coffees around.

In the military we LIVED on coffee,.,,losing your squadron coffee cup was an emergency procedure.

During the lull periods of the week, if some of us don't see a new post at least every 20 min's, well......

Nature abhors a vaccum

As a new member to a Navy Aircrew (AEWBARRONPAC - Midway Island) - flying 17+ hour radar pickets between Midway and the Aleutians ........ I (not being a coffee drinker at the time) decided to 1) clean the coffee pot ....... with steel wool no less, 2) and serve hot chocolate to the crew while on barrier flight.

The response was ............. not describable in a public forum. It took a long time for that "mistake" to be forgotten.

It could be modified....let me know how it turns out.
Nah, I am far past the age of engineering my own pipes, especially since the quality, quantity and price have all advanced (or declined) since legalization started picking up.

After reading that, I'm astounded you're still around to talk about it. I expect there was quite a bit of fast talking going on to keep the crew from tossing you into the Bering Sea.

LMAO. The ultimate "sin". We never washed dads pot either!

1) "You WILL purchase a new pot at your own expense, 2) "You will NEVER ........... as in 40 life times, EVER wash the Sacred Pot again, 3) You WILL carry the Honey Bucket WITHOUT HELP off of every flight for the next 12 flights .... without one peep of complaint. 4) You WILL start drinking coffee (Interspersed with &*##&$(%&# x 127)

Of course, then it became widely known throughout the squadron.
Navy sarcasm is brutal.

About coffee... Turkish is nice but I think we've got the nicest coffee of them all... Here most people drink it without anything else... Not sugar, cream .... Sometimes milk...

But most people agree Colombian coffee is the best.

And nope... It still hasn't stalled.

Well this is an eye opener. Asus VE278 monitor vs my old and true Sony 50inch.

I bought this monitor for my son as a Christmas present. Since my TV is broken i needed something to race with now. I do have an older 17" monitor but i said what the heck why not try out his new 27" gaming monitor. As of yesterday i knew my Sony had a great picture and detail. Wrong! ohhhh so very wrong. This monitor is amazing. Changes the whole game. Now i am starting to understand why a "gaming monitor" is so critical.

This little experiment of mine just cost me more money. How can i go back to the Sony after viewing the Asus? Would be like going back to a bicycle after driving a car.

I wonder, will this make drive faster? ........

The snipping tool tutoring, but it appears I infringed.
You can call me 7 kinds of confused now. :boggled:
Link wouldn't load here at work so have no idea what it is to at the moment. Will check it when I get home in about 30.

but I'm caught up on my seasonals, done 20 laps around Daytona (still suck there) and the coffee conversation stalled lol

So keep practicing until you don't suck anymore. The practice will benefit you regardless whether the combo is used again or not. Big picture...
