It is kinda crazy, I posted the beer video and the next thing you know we have beer and coffee posts spread over four pages! During the lull periods of the week, if some of us don't see a new post at least every 20 min's, well......
In USAF survival training in Western Montana they gave us arctic ration packs from WW2...which included little hard bricks of coffee...they also gave us an old tin pot. We melted snow...threw in the bricks of java...et voila....the absolute best coffee EVER. I have been searching for that aroma and taste for over 40 years...none of the artsy fhartsy blends or makers have anything close to that WW2 blend...or perhaps it was the environment and the cold.....who knows. We make our own 1/2 decaf with cock full of nuts hi test and Folgers Colombian decaf...much better than the LIGHT coffees around.
Nah, I am far past the age of engineering my own pipes, especially since the quality, quantity and price have all advanced (or declined) since legalization started picking up.
