I will be auditing and rebuilding the permission set for the Director's Doc today. If you're not listed in the TEAM SNAIL sheet as a scorekeeper for your division, you will not have permissions to that document after I'm done. If you are a scorekeeper for your division and do not have permissions after maintenance is complete, contact your division manager so they can notify myself or @CoachMK21 and we'll get it adjusted.

edit;
Also, only one email address per scorekeeper will be allowed, if the email address you registered with SNAIL is not the one you will be using to access the document, then the one you plan to use will become your registered email address with SNAIL. Choose wisely.

edit 2;
I will be rebuilding the permission set on the Results doc tomorrow. Data specialists might want to get their ducks in a row and poo in a pile and make sure you're listed in the TEAM SNAIL sheet.

Ford scheduled maintenance! Hmm I always thought that you were just suppose to throw a book of matches on them and see the pretty colors!:sly::D:sly:

Ok well the 2 shades of yellow and orange are exactly the same and the blues are very close with the exception of @ExoSphere64. Also someone is running a very disturbing pink and yellow paint scheme. That has GOT to go !
lol and depending on the car he also runs green rims just depends which one looks better at the time! as for the yellows they seem slightly different (aeros has a touch of orange in the chip) the oranges were never close to each other for me to get a look lol

lol but its all about shades!
I do believe that it is not about shades...knowing who is behind you by color, not by pushing a button can be critical. You are dicing with a blue car...you are clear of him...he is in sight...you turn in....you hit another blue car. You had thought there was one blue car...but no ...there were, unknown to you...TWO.

IMHO when a Division is shook up at months end the drivers should coordinate their colors so the there are as many colors as possible. I routinely change mine ( even though I may have seniority) to avoid there being two of us. I'm back to "Bet you can't say you didn't see me green"... So obnoxious that no one could possibly want it. Below is a good example of color spread from another league with Goofy harrasing my ass in his detroit iron.

I agree it would be great but you can't claim a colour only a shade!

lol no its a psychological thing! Could you imagine getting beat by a guy in a pink car with my little pony all over it!
I could, and when we got to the next light, I would probably still roll down the window and laugh...

So change your color...the world will not come to a stop...I love BRG with Lotus Yellow wheels like Team lotus Livery from the 60s...very classy...but so do many others and rather than comparing SNAIL DATES....just go with the flow...pick another highly recognizable color until you can have yours back. Don't forget you need to check the color chart BEFORE you show up with the same color as some one else...also check your number.

HEY PD....ITS TIME FOR LIVERY EDITORS...HINT...HINT. :banghead::mad:

lol Why are you coming after me. I agree with you! But there's only realistically only 11 deistic colours and as an example D6 there were 13 Sunday so atleast 2 people are going to have the same colour

not quite.. there are very different shades of each colour. Metallic, Matte, etc. Plus with the ability to paint the wheels, you can come up with a very unique combo colour combination.

Best example: I know when @ExoSphere64 is on track even if he doesn't say Hola!

I picked a color no one would think of using as well. Beware the bright yellow peril.
Shockey.... You stole MY wheels.

it's still about shades

  1. Please, enter a paint chip and not a general color. (IE, WC Mica Blue, as opposed to Blue) This will insure that we get the maximum amount of use of hues in any given color.
  2. Also this: Any color and any combo is allowed, so long as it does not match or present a hard distinction from another driver in your division.
    as an example the blue's in our division there are 4 and only 2 are really close but are made of different materials so to say 1 of them has to change it yet there not the same colour or material just makes no since to me!

The first run is complete. The Snails listed and tagged below have had their permissions reset with the email address they registered with SNAIL upon entry or as edited since then. If the account is not what you plan to access the document with, please PM me which account you do intend to use. Be advised, should you provide a google docs account name that is different than the one you registered when you signed up for SNAIL, I will replace it with the one you provide now.

Additionally, it is intended there only be 3 scorekeepers, 1 primary and 2 backups, for any one division at any given time, maintaining access permissions. Under no circumstances should any one person have more than one account with access to any SNAIL Google resource. Also, The sheet seems to perform poorly when several folks have it loaded on Sunday night. With this in mind, please limit Sunday night access to only those scorekeepers that are "on duty" for the night. It would be a good idea however, if the alternate scorekeepers are "ready" to jump in if necessary.

I'm not after anyone... just that you brought up my pet peeve. Yes there are Only so many basic colors.....want to know how many very different (recognizable) variations of the same color there are...not just subtle shading ....say Sassy Grass Green and BRG....and the same for others say French Racing Blue and Navy Blue... yes they are the same base colour but they are very different...easy to differentiate. Sorry if I antagonized you....never meant to, not my nature.

New subject....is anyone else having trouble joining a club when you get a invitation. You follow the message it ends, it does not take you to the club room where you can enter. It seems to be a glitch. Then I get the club number from a member , search for the club by number, enter the club and join.

Oh boy oh boy, it finally came in last night!

I was able to get it up and running without a lot of trouble, but I did have to make a few adjustments to my rig to match this kit's setup.

IMAG3602.jpg

So far I was able to match a couple of TTs I did with my old wheel by .5secs, not a bad transition so far!

Coming from a driving force gt pro, this new wheel is a lot bigger, made from better materials, and has much stronger and more dynamic FFB. It's also much quieter during normal driving conditions, but still screams if you take your hands off and let it whip around.

IMAG3601.jpg

The pedals are (as expected) the only shortfall so far. They have good resistance but the brake isn't progressive and has a very small range of motion. It may need to be stiffened up in order to expand that short throw...

I used it to run a few laps in GT6 on PS3 as well as Driveclub on PS4. The latter is a totally cheesy arcade-y mess of a game, but the wheel at least made it more immersive. The added PS button vs my old wheel is a godsend as I've always had to keep a DS3 close to power down or chat, and the buttons in general are well placed and feel fine. The L3 and R3 buttons are a little out of the way, but that just puts the horn out of reach!

So far I'm super pleased overall, and look forward to getting a whole new experience out of the game with this beast!

SAFETY ALERT - I would recommend you take a good look at the routing of your electrical cables. We don't want you to enjoy this game so much that you end up with a "shocking" experience.

Very nice! I'm planning on upgrading to one too if my G27 isn't supported for GT7.
