If I could possibly sneak a post in here while Birdy takes a breath... I would like to say I for one am going to miss the Aston Martin.
I think it's one of the main reasons I did so well in div 6 the last 2 months.
In the 8 weeks it was around I got 4 wins and 11 top 5s...and that includes missing one week.
I think it may have stuck around a little longer but didn't quite work at Daytona.
Still all in all a great car.👍

Now...Back to you Birdy!!!
 
The diameter of the tires never changes when you change wheels so there is no gearing change and I don't think GT takes sidewall flex into account other than based on the type of tire (SH, RS, etc), or possibly even based on the physics of car itself. I've never noticed any difference changing wheel sizes (and most of the time I think the normal size looks better), but I tend to go for wheels I know are light in real life just in case... lol.

Just some race cars with good grip, 4WD cars probably. The key is you can't treat it like a normal corner, braking hard at the latest possible point and then turning in. And you can't trail brake as you turn in for the increasing radius turn. You have to ease off the gas and take it slow coming off the banking.

lol yeah I just pumped the breaks to keep her from locking up until I felt I could turn in lol

This is a great track too. I hope if anything bad happens to the combo that it stays and we use some high powered cars here. Lots of straight track to get up in the gears.

Because leadership (aka you) did post your reply and his response was to my response of further clarification from you as to what you were saying. I wasn't mad nor am I mad or was ever mad at his answer and lash out at him for his answer. What I did how ever say in not as quite so nice words was "be quite I'm not looking for a response from you and don't appreciate the way you are interjecting yourself into something I did not ask of you and ignored your response to the first time you answered". But if this is my ultimatum then I should go take some serious thought as to what would be best for me!
Actually, this was your ultimatum. So was this.

Your posts tonight were both inflammatory and inappropriate (disregarding the AUP - even after being warned repeatedly by GTP mods and myself). Therefore, you have been banned from this thread for a week. Should you choose to return after a week, I suggest you come back with a new mindset (and a new appreciation for your shift keys). If you don't, you'll be banned a second time (for a month). The third ban is a permanent ban, but in addition to being banned from this thread, a permanent ban will result in you being banned from all SNAIL-sanctioned races as well.

Due to the very short laps for the Suzuki @ GTA, I suggest everyone planning on racing here review the OLR here in regards to lapped traffic. It will happen, so please be prepared!

Drivers that are about to get lapped have to make sure not to interfere with the lapping cars. The driver being lapped should stay on the racing line but slow down just enough to allow the lead driver an easy pass. Keep your racing line predictable and try to stay out of the way.
 
Was tooling around on the Arena last night, and was consistently running 32's all night, once I found my rhythm. I found it much more comfortable with my G25 set at default lock, tighter steering didn't play well with developing a good rhythm. But man before I found my rhythm it felt really slow. I know 31's or below are possible once I nail down turn 1. I'm liking the combo, running in traffic with a full grid will be a challenge.
 
yea the Suzuki is gunna be interesting I'm now running 31s almost 30s the key is in that back section you gott be real tight but the lap traffic ughhh just thinking about the stress -_~

Running by myself, on an otherwise empty track, is a challenge. Not a criticism - just a comment from someone who cannot find a rhythm ....... or anything else that would lead to not wearing out the tires while trying to keep up with everyone else. My problem, not the car's - obviously. :guilty:

Yes just like any other turn 1. Survive it! Apply the brakes early as oppose to driving it to the wall, grass, sand, etc!... or even worst.. driving it into someone else's bumper.

My question on this is..... If two cars are battling for points and are in 9th and 10th place, are being approached by the 1,2 cars. Do they really give up their fight to stay out of the leaders in way?

short answer is yes. Both cars have to give the fast line to the approaching car. They can still continue to nuke it down after the leader passes by.

Blue flag with diagonal yellow stripe: This is the courtesy flag shown to drivers not on the lead lap. It indicates that the slower drivers should yield to the faster drivers approaching them.

This flag is shown to drivers when a faster driver is approaching them and trying to over take. Only lapped cars have to give way to a faster driver, if after being shown three blue flags they have still not done so they risk being penalised.

All just out loud thinking here .... We don't have blue flags here to signal that to racers. Do we and have we always run with a "blue flag system" on Sundays?

The blue flag has always existed in Snail. You don't see it applied too much in Sundays, because we rarely have lapped cars in a 10 minute race.

It happens frequently when D1 drivers join the enduro type series.


and regardless.... is it the right thing to do. Courtesies of any track.
 
Well I'm thinking if this were to be the last combo of the month and on reverse grid 1st and 2nd in overall points are in last about to be lapped by the first place car. The race in the back would be more important than first in that race
