Technical Director Ruling
After a brief discussion among the board of directors of SNAIL the following ruling is being made in the interest of being consistent when a given situation occurs.
As SNAIL has done in the past when a car is chosen that has "copies" that are identical in their specs including weight, horsepower, performance points, suspension settings, transmission settings and all other mechanical settings including aerodynamics, SNAIL will allow the variations of the GT-R NISMO GT3 Team RJN '13 listed below to be used for official races,
References to previous examples of this being done can be found here and here. i know on one of those links, you have to go down two posts to find the list of cars used that were identical.
GT-R NISMO GT3 Team RJN '13
GT-R NISMO GT3 Base Model '13
GT-R NISMO GT3 Schulze Motorsport '13
The GT-R NISMO '13 is not allowed as it has different mechanical settings from these three cars.
I think people will be pleased if they don't have the RJN YouTube car, because did we not use the Nismo GT3 base model before? I remember buying it the first week I was here but didn't end up racing it.
We have used the GT3 base model in the past. It was back in April and it lasted two weeks at Indy Road. This should be a different experience with the car at Silverstone. If I am able to race Sunday (I'm working football on Saturday and some basketball on Sunday morning, I will have to do some rebuilding on the car or run a version with fewer miles on it for me.
We ran the GT500 version @ @LLOYDZELITE69 's choosing, first @ GVS and then @ SuzukaI think I might be confusing it with the Super GT version then. My bad!
On another note, I ain't much a one for purples but, that Infiniti VGT Deep Purple is just damn sexy.
And here's a proper soundtrack for when you're driving it!
Hush.
I was thinking of the band when I saw the color name.
Hey there! Would like to join the league if still possible. PSN name is alex_fett.
More fake cars... That is all.Well give us a brief intro. ASAP
Great move here...Thanks for doing a little research comparing the line-up options. We have used the GT3 base model in the past. It was back in April and it lasted two weeks at Indy Road. I feel you rally. I'm also upset by the fact that all we get in gt6 is "fake cars".More fake cars... That is all.
Without going too long, I'd return all the fake cars and concept models in return for the Course Creator.
I miss shuffle racing, too, but that's a different issue.
I'm looking forward to testing out the combos tonight once I finish my reviews.
I will admit, I didn't initially think it would work, but @JLBowler choice of the Cappuccino at GT Arena went far better than I feared - I enjoyed racing the Combo and it was a nice, strategic, change of pace. Some of the "one-and-done" have been my more memorable moments in SNAIL. Something novel definitely adds spice to the mix.
You mean just one of every generation of those right?I would trade all but one, Miata, Silvia, and GTR, for every VGT in the game. The course creator feature, unless it allows me, and I mean with my current tech devices and knowledge, to pull in roads I can only drive safely at low speeds IRL, is of absolutely no interest. I would rather have cars in the game that are "out there" conceptually, than putt putt around with cars I can go do the same thing with for real. That's just me though.
I'm not quite so picky, so long as I can model the track, and not have the track "creator" of gt5, then I'll be happy. That track maker from gt5 is lame dice. Though, having the GPS mapping like was promised before the release would be the bee's elbows!I would trade all but one, Miata, Silvia, and GTR, for every VGT in the game. Veloster and Veloster Turbo say hello. At least with Hyundai they got the one car that is worth having in the game, the Genesis. But we are over a year into the game now, and we still have not even heard a peep about the track creator. And I agree, it seems they are focusing to much on the "fantasy" side of the game lately. It would be nice to see a few new real cars, and some new real tracks make it.
I suppose, if you are into the whole FF hot hatch thing.Veloster and Veloster Turbo say hello.
