It was announced the week that the combo premiered that the one visually identical GT-R with different tuning settings was ineligible.

The above is correct. As per this post, one of the GTR's was not an eligible car. Whomever used an ineligible car will likely have their races DQed, once it's been verified in the replays. The eligible are also shown in Post #2 of this thread.

Replays for Division 5 have been uploaded to the D5 folder. First timer here, so if an administrator could please verify they were uploaded correctly and in the right place, I would appreciate it. Great racing in D5 tonight.

It appears the replays you uploaded are in the right place. 👍 & a big happy

How do I move 2014 to archive folder ? Replays.
And create a 2015 folder?
I am currently uploading to D7 shared folder.

You don't. I will take care of moving replays to archive folders. Replays uploaders need to upload to the parent folders labeled "Division X", where X is your division number. If you don't have permissions on your division's parent folder, upload them to the public folders here, under your division folder. Administrators will take care of getting them moved around where we want them and setting permissions so those people that need them can upload them precisely where we want them.

Thanks to those who posted about tonight's racing. As always, a friendly reminder:

It is strictly prohibited to discuss specific racing incidents on this thread. Doing so could be considered both inflammatory and inappropriate, and either will get you banned. If you believe that a driver exhibited poor racecraft or is guilty of any SNAIL OLR violation, file a Racing Incident Report by 11pm Eastern / 8pm Pacific on Monday night. Follow the instructions precisely or your submission might not be addressed. If you're undecided on whether or not you should file an incident, please remember that clean racing is not only your right, it's also your responsibility and something that we all need to be accountable for.

I must say it was fun getting back on track last night and racing when I could. We got a heck of a windstorm that knocked my power out twice. The second time I just gave up. I mostly focused on trying to keep the car in a straight line again as I haven't raced online in a while. The race I won I literally think I drove the tires off the car as I was far from being close to the fasted car on the track. D6 if dull of great drivers.

Thanks i was just wondering. I was trying to clean the folder up.

Fair enough. They be all cleaned up and ready (mostly) for the year. I would like to ask all the replay uploaders to user their PSN IDs in the replay zip file name.

Also, try not using periods in file names, it can freak out some Anti virus software scanners. The only place a period should be is right before the file extension. YYYY_MM_DD_DIV#_PSNID.zip is an example of a replay archive file naming convention. It would be really nice if all the replay folks could get together and decide to standardize file names. Some of us stewards are old and crotchety, with failing eyesight and may miss something if it's not easily recognizable. Kind of like how room hosts could get together and standardize room comments. I'm kinda' fond of the following room comment convention for Sunday night rooms;
SNAIL Division-# C#/R#. While not of monumental importance, the format, besides the period thing, can be whatever is decided upon. It would just make it easier and faster, for those needing to know, not to have to cipher differing formats.

None of the Sunday rooms should be visible to the general public, so long as they are being set properly to Club Only, so having the snailracing.org in the comment is not as important as it is for public club or open lobby practice rooms. The real place that room comment is helpful, besides the room names in the club lobby all being consistent, is in the replays, where it will show up at the beginning and random times during playback, helping to remind those same crotchety stewards, with eyes dimmed by age, what, exactly, they're doing.

Lucky for you we've been keeping track of who's been invited. You're still listed as active and in D8. You're invite is waiting for you to accept.

Your initial invite failed back in November due to a difference in the PSN ID you submitted to SNAIL and your actual PSN ID. Thanks for sending that message so we could verify.

awesome thanks, ill join as soon as i get home :)

When i upload the replays i use the method you have told me to use from the get go (2015_01_5_D6_R1-6_blueninja). dont change it lol it will mess up my categorized system lol

I put my name last night..oops.

sorry will get it right next time. I was just trying to get it done before I went to bed.

I tell you what, for as much as I've been struggling to find "D4 pace" for the past 2 weeks I'm ecstatic about my overall performance last night. Little bit of wow, little bit of whoa; little bit of wait, little bit of go. :)

I might have had "D4 pace" last night. The problem with that for me is that I was racing in D3. I did manage one win when whoever was in 2nd place had an issue and held up the entire field while I got out to a nine second lead. I was barely able to hold on for the win.

That pretty much adheres to what I was asking for earlier. The only time you need to list the "race numbers" is when you've included less than all 6. Yer doing fine Bayou. Keep doing it the way you're doing it. It's the bolded parts in your file name 2015_01_5_D6_R1-6_blueninja that I would like everyone else to use, exactly the same way you are. The only difference I would point out is the day should be the race day, not the day you made or uploaded the file.

Eh, winning is winning (as long as it's clean). My W came partially to GotDirt's DC(unfortunately really, it had promise to be a 3-way battle), but Coach was a comin' so I had to look for another gear. :)

Guys, of course I'm just taking out some aggression. Jeez...
Camomile tea helps :)

First rule of comedy: Everything can be joked about. When something is taken off the table, we as a society have lost our way. You always need the court jester, no matter how bad things get.

Sad but true...as a society we lost that.

For example...take a stopwatch and go to your local airport... utter those words and start the stopwatch and see how many seconds it will take for a few burly men to take you down.... on the upside...the weather at Quantanamo Bay is nice this time of the year.

I was on the hunt. Getting caught behind @intoflatlines didnt help. But it was ok. Made me be patient and find the right spot to get around.
