I didn't spend enough time with the holiday seasonals and never maxed my credits. I just can't bring myself to do it non-stop, like finish a race and immediately start another. It's a long race. My brain hurts. I have enough for the Shelby race car and I might try to get more in today for the two classic Ferrari's but otherwise I'm hoping they release another nice seasonal tomorrow.

And what reason do I have to buy them other than to try them out once or twice. They will never be used in the online racing that I do. It's just for personal collection, which I don't care so much about if I don't have a chance to use them like I just said. Super meh

Ya, to each his own. Don't get me wrong, i like racing in the league as well, but during a race when a car,(usually me), goes off the track i spend the rest of that race driving by myself. Yawn. At least with the new boost racing, if I screw up, I can catch the tail end of the pack, but that's it, boost only gets you to the back of the pack. To get back to the front still requires skill,(and muscle). For a guy like me who doesn't live in front of his PS3, when I do turn it on, I want some fun and hilarity. At my age, 59, I find the league too serious...that's ok though....to each his own.
I find your attitude towards boost racing a lttle snotty. Why are there so many higher division guys partaking in this? Because it's fun, that's it, that's all. Don't knock it till you try it.... We don't even keep a score anymore, and the laughing at the end of each race is worth the price of admission. IR's, hah none filed.......ever.
This is also the best practice for the league, it teaches you how to race around and with a "pack" of cars, which I find the league is totally lacking.
Now.....about those controllers.........

Trust me, I get it. I raced two nights of snail boost racing before you went to full damage. And in gt5 I hosted a full damage weak boost shuffle room pretty much every night while I honed my racecraft

Exactly, People are always busting my chops over that. Buy, Race, Sell. Very seldom do I keep a car after we race it. I don't think I've ever been over 60 cars.

Hi @SGETI , thank you for your reply but unfortunately there are no criteria which are relevant whether a member is promoted or relegated, I mean is it a matter of collected points, average of lap times, ...
All of what you said are things im sure bowler looks at when promoting or relegating

All of what you said are things im sure bowler looks at when promoting or relegating
And like one or two more things.
1. Average tire pressure
2. If you run with AC on / off
3. Turn signal use
4. 0-60 times
5. Average position going into and coming out of turn 1.
6. The average amount of fish caught by the fisherman before 3pm on Saturday in the boat at Deep Forest.
7. Bodyweight
8. The number of times you say "called it!" during the week.
9. Favorite color
10. How often you've changed your car color and/or number in the last three weeks.

and some other stuff I'm sure.

Where can I find the criteria whether a member is promoted or relegated at the end of a season? Thank you!

There is no set formula for promotion and relegation. I take into consideration fast lap times, total race times, points scored, average finish position, space for drivers in each division, keeping the divisions relatively balanced, and any other piece of data that I can get my hands on that is presented in a way that makes sense. I go over all the data "blind" in the sense that I hide the column with names in it while reviewing the data. Once I have my candidates for P&R, I will show the names and make the moves.

If something seems not quite right, I have been known to go look at race replays to get a better picture of what is going on with individual drivers.

Even with all that, it's not a perfect process and I do "miss" sometimes and have to adjust on the fly or undo what I have just done.

Meh...... To each his own. Because of my lack of skill in the league, I find myself racing myself al lot. Hence, no fun. This way, I can catch the back of the pack, but that's it. As far as I understand it, GT5 had an awful boost system where the last car would be propelled to the front with the boost. Not anymore, they have honed the physics just enough for a car that has left the track to have a little extra speed to catch the back of the pack. From then on, you are on your own. The boost is not that extreme, after a minor shunt the other night on the High Speed Ring, it took me 4 perfect laps to catch up. Once I caught the pack, I still couldn't advance above 12th. We have fun fun fun till Daddy takes the Miata away.

All good! I think he knows I was just joking.

I'll do the update when I get home tonight and I'm at the good PC. The work laptop only allows me to so much :D

Oh, we'll get to the bottom of this time discrepancy when folks run the Time Trial after it gets stood up tonight.

That's because you don't race stock events outside snail. I do the Joby's drivetrain challenge and hang around with some stock racers communities out there. Therefore, I have 400 and something cars.

@speer9892003 congratulation, dude. All the best for you, your woman and little baby.
