A huge thank you for the awesome work by @Rednose58 on the pre-race detail summariesand banners!

I was reading some other post about the TT. I think penalty should be on full so there is no cutting and you will get accurate times don't care about other cars on track always can spread out.

I thought if that too, but I'm not sure if the game would penalize exactly like we would.

I think it would be close like grand valley there guys going way to far on that curd on the down hill before the hard right you should only touch the rumble stip not any more. and some use the concrete before the first tunnel to help turn the car and same thing in the second tunnel some reason the concrete helps the car turn. you can't use the curd in the tunnel because you are getting seconds on another guy.

This was from thursday nights practice, good luck everyone tonight. =)
...they work... So why,man? Why??!?!?!

Cool video!

FWIW, - as an example / clarification...there would have been penalty at 1:40 for not having 2 tires inside the boundaries... This is ONLY for illustrative purposes.

I've removed my 1:12.871 lap for the BMW at Ascari combo from the time trial leaderboards since I touched grass in the first chicane on that lap. If anyone else has a best lap on any of the time trial leaderboards that’s not clean you can let myself, @MajorBlixem, @Rednose58, @nmcp1, or @Dragonwhisky know and we’ll remove it for you. For those interested, here’s a video of my new, clean 1:13.064 lap: link. Be warned, it was filmed with a potato.

And here's video of my 1:05.748 Stowe TT lap, also filmed with a potato, that might give someone ideas on how to go faster there:

I went into the hairpin a little too hot and was a little too quick on the throttle coming out. You want to avoid red tires and smoke as much as you can. And for the last turn, you'll want to try to hug the inside white line closer than I did. For the last turn, I think it helps to try to "throw" the car into the turn to help maintain momentum.

I don't even bother reading them anymore. It's just a wall of jumbled letters that aren't even in the right order at times. I've never encountered a curd when racing.
You now i was note talking to you so just mind your business everytime i come on here you say something i missed spelled a word i guess you have to be college educated to say something. you play the game you know what i was talking about.

You are on a public forum, one where you accepted a policy that you aren't following very well. I only speak up when it's difficult to understand what someone's trying to say. If I knew what you were talking about, without having to reread it 4 times, insert punctuation as I go, and fix the 4 spelling errors in your 3 line response I'm quoting, there wouldn't be much of a problem.

I don't know about where you're from, but here, we learned spelling and punctuation in our first few years of grade school, not college.

Having been in the education field, and based on my observations, I would say some here were not taught proper grammar & punctuation very well. Either they were not taught and corrected, or they didn't care to learn and just skated through high school like so many do (unfortunately). I've spoken to many college professors and the general consensus is many high school students today are severely deficient in their written communication skills. Therefore, it may be that those confusing posts are due to a lack of knowledge & understanding.

To those who are catching flack for your punctuation/grammar, might I give you some advice.? When making a post, try to model your post like those here who write clearly and concisely. Reread (proof) your post and add a period (.) at the end of a thought, or where you think it should go. Then reread your text pausing where you placed each period and see if it makes sense. Edit as needed. Don't stress yourself trying to use commas, parenthesis, semi-colons, etc. Start with a basic period at the end of each sentence followed with a capital letter on the first word of the next sentence. Hope this helps.

Flop
