I'm working on setting up the D6 febuary email but I need some help!

How to i add more people to the conversation?

And how do I add people without copy/pasting every name to the list?

I see that @JLBowler has addressed this, but the conversation is started by the Divisional Manager. If that's something you are interested in, let me know. If not, then we'll find someone else to do that.

Also, as JL said, only a premium member can add more than 10 to a PM. For this reason, it's advantageous to be a premium member if you're a DM. If a DM is not a premium member, then I've created the PM's in the past and will continue to do so. Make sense?

Yep! I'm going to be the DM (with the departure of aero) and I could have added more then 10 to the conversation before starting it but I just added all the full time people to it (11). We have a few premiums in D6 so I will get them to add the rest to the list (including you) @McTrucker @TEX36and @watermelon punch I'm looking to you guys!

Well here I am again, "Late to the Party"
Have not found a way to Enter the Club Time Trials, though several attempts.
Could someone explain the process? Sorry.

Go to the time trial you want to do and "sign up" then if no one else is doing it when you are you'll have to " create a room" .. for your TT to be recorded you'll have to start the "race "

  1. Go to Community, from the GT6 My Home screen.
  2. Select Clubs
  3. Select SNAIL [Spec] Racing
  4. Select Club Events
  5. Select the Time Trial you want to do
  6. If your first time doing that TT, you'll need to sign up
  7. If there isn't a current room open, create one. You'll need to enter a room name only. The rest of the settings are prefilled.

Someone asked me in a PM how I remembered the exact car and driver and race from BCs picture of the 917 at Brands in 1970. I didn't... even this old pachyderm (watch the tusks ) can't remember a race he never went to. The most amazing historical site http://www.racingsportscars.com has most sports car races with donated pictures of cars from fans and teams who were there which are then plugged into the respective entry list and results. It is an absolute gold mine of info and pix. Lots of my pix are there and I am constantly finding more when I continue to scan my thousands of slides.

Enjoy the site and donate to them (they will copy-write to you). Here is someone you might recognize ...security for the 1976 Brands Test day was non-existent. Jody Schecter in the P34 waits to enter the fray (and almost end my right foot's existence) as Carlos Pace ( say PAA CHAAY) in the Brabham goes down the pit lane. The second has a bit of a story. It is Jacques Lafitte's Ligier. Note the tire doughnut on the side and the note on tape in the "doughnut hole". It seems that James ( Hunt) had gotten a little close in the preceding Spanish GP. I shot 4 36 exp rolls that day in an hour.

Dusted my wheel off, found a chair, dragged my setup to the living room, fired up the system, get situated, and it's going to take four hours to install the update.

This is what I get for hitting triangle and selecting "check for updates" instead of going through the game.

Learn from my mistake.

Can you do the same tt more than once to better your time ?And vsfit where is Tom Mags short cut you were talking about ? Ha HA

All over the place, @TomMang_68 will just make up his own track, although most of us would call it off-track. But hey, he's @TomMang_68. Just follow him around a track sometime, if you're one of the lucky few, he'll show you how he does it...lol.

Before everyone goes nuts, I'm only joking. I have a great amount of respect for and share a friendly laugh with @TomMang_68. All this stems from our Big Air gatherings we have on occasion, where basically it's an off-road, no rules thrashing of cars.

@vsfit we need to have another weekend launch party soon. I had tons of fun blowing off steam at Big Willow and launching some of our most hated favorite cars off the berms and hill on the infield. I have some good photo shots, one of them is my profile pic on the club feature. Finding the room glitches are fun too!

Perhaps this weekend if we can round up the usual cast of characters.

Who would have thought a bunch of 30/40 somethings would laugh like that playing a video game. @aerolite, @QEDXY, @DCschwinn, @jnmjeeper, @Hellbringer69, @JamCar0ne, @USERID_77a23, @GTP_Vertigo and others would find their way into the chaos.

Idea! Wonder how many cars we could clear at Sierra off the first jump? Think of the photos from that!

That is funny right there ,I don't care who you are . YES I had allot of fun in the big -air room . I also have the greatest respect for you Tom and Thank You for all your help and guidance. In a race you hung back with a D8 guy in his first race on -line and made me feel like one of the gang .I thank you .

I had a 'circuit' I'd made up for this course as a "rallycross special" stage. I'll look for the course, but:
* Start on the straight, don't turn, and head up to the green cylinder straight ahead.
- Keep the cylinder on your left (for almost all turns), then head back towards T2's cylinder.
* T2 Cylinder - Keep on left.
* Then head to cylinder on the right side of the track where the infield opens up to the big loop (this is a long stretch). Again, cylinder on left.
* Head to the cylinder on the backside of the top of the hill - this is a BIG bump.
* Continue in same direction - Stay OFF the roads - Stay along the upper edge of the map and go around the cylinder that's in the top left side of the map (latter half of the sweeper, inside edge). Again, keep cylinder on left.
* Long traverse to reuse the cylinder where the infield opens up. Use the RIGHT side - one of only 2 times you'll do that.
* Cross the infield - BIG ditch to be considered. Head to the cylinder near the final corner. Again, cylinder on left.
* Stay on dirt, head back 1 more cylinder and again... keep it on your left.
* Head towards one of the buildings on the straight - I think it's the Tires building (?) - and watch for the low wall. That wall will always win.
* Turn right when you reach the straight.

Great for a classic 'Murican muscle, or smaller cars like the Hornet, the Gordini, or old-school Rally Cars on CS.

YMMV.

Figured I'd play it safe and run a frs around willow springs and said "my lord this is not what I remembered"

Ran a stock zr1 around the green hell and lapped an 8.00.859 on my first lap banging the H gate.

Looks like I've still got it somewhere in here ;)

Replacing my tv asap and I'm def coming back. Had too much fun and too many good friends to not to.

Aren't I in that pic? :D I was at one point! Jumping over your car and not totaling It! #Skills.

Sorry, don't know what you're talking about  (50 something and I have CRS)

What id love to try is landing a 360 in a rally car off one of the bumps at Willow Springs, and driving off like nothing happened :D

Yes @DCschwinn that's your car jumping the VW bus! It cracks me up every time I see it. The best part is that it wasn't staged. It just happened! Soo much fun! ...and that's exactly what I signed up for when I joined this league.

My pleasure man. No doubt. Just paying it forward . When I joined up guys like @Scott G and @USERID_77a23 would do the same for me. I can't tell you how many times I spun out trying to get the Corvette RC on RH around Silverstone GP. Those guys and guys like them are what makes me keep coming back...not to mention the far fetched tomfoolery and antics of @vsfit who so often likes to stir the pot ;)

ummm, yea..We're usually a little sauced, no way we could follow something this simple. We just like to go fast and jump things...lol.

And what am I?? Chopped liver? I'm in for some hijinks, anytime. Too much fun.
