ever heard of a place here in kansas city called airparts? they are less than a mile from my house in southern wyandotte county they have all kinds of tools and supplies you need to build aircraft

cliffE
I certainly have, I've ordered from them numerous times over the years. Would love to have that place around the corner from me!

What's in a name? Since joining this league I've seen all sorts of cool PSN ID's but I'm always curious how they came to be. I think it would be cool if we had some insight to some of your names and the meaning behind them , if any. Mine is pretty simple, it's my high school nickname (first name and "mang" as articulated by Al Pacino in the movie Scarface that came out in 1983) and the year I was born. Pretty boring but it is what it is:) One that I'm particularly curious about is @Die_Birdy_Die
Nicknames? We're using nicknames? I never got that memo...

To me, the caption above the originally posted pic indicates Mr. McTrucker on the left and you, Mr. Mang on the right. Has anyone ever told you, you look like Donny Wahlberg?

Twitter slightly mad studios wheel list not final. that with a soon next to it normally they say that things happen pretty quick what I noticed. the question that was asked for xbox one wheel list
You mind going back and rewriting that? This one is impossible to decipher........

Something about the twitter for the developer of project cars, and something about the wheel list and "soon next to it" (I'm guessing he means it said something was coming soon somewhere on their twitter feed, but I looked and didn't see anything). And then the end makes it sound like he was replying to someone's question about the wheel list for xbox one but I don't remember a question like that, so I don't really know.

Me either. It's just a bunch of words really.

Pretty straightforward... my last name is Nessel. On PSN the jr stands for my first and middle initials (I'm not a "Jr."). I've been using Lessen as a web handle since I first got online as a teenager.

Also, although not a part of my screen name, 51 represents the date of which I proposed and later married my amazing better half, May 1st, 2003 and 2004 respectively.

Maybe I'm more hoping than understanding, but I'm guessing this is the Project Cars maker maybe, possibly, who knows, adding Logitech support?

Since they have different platforms, you can probably play with people in other consoles/PC, right? So maybe if Xbox has Logitech support, that's the way to go? You would miss out on GT7, but I have to say that the few P.Cars videos of the release version I've seen so far, it looks absolutely incredible.

I was really surprised by this, lots of people ridicule GT Academy as just a "game show" and refer to the winners as "game show contestants", but GT Academy is not the first time that a competition has been the launch platform for successful racing careers. Someone we've all heard of got his start from a competition run by Autosport magazine all the way back in 1971.

Heh. No that's a first : ) I guess I have one if those familiar looking faces. I've been told I look like Nicholas Cage, David Duchovny , Alan Rickman, Kevin Costner, Paul Walker, the list goes on...but mostly people close to me say I look like my brother Joe ;)

About 8yrs ago I had just finished going through a divorce so my buddies started calling "single paddy". It was shortly after that I got my PS3 so I decided to use my nickname as my user ID.

Of course after I got married to my present wife I became "double paddy" than "triplepaddy" after the birth of my daughter!!
I'll just leave it as is though, cause that's how you all know me.

Man, at least those are nice (although with Nic Cage, it can be an insult, depending on which movie you're using as basis).

I used to get Brandon Fraser and Hugh Grant a lot (it's the hair), but then I cut it short and got Steve Buscemi. That was a pretty bad day...

Once there was a Simpsons episode where a badger had taken up residence in the family doghouse. After several failed attempts to remove it, the family decided to try to lure it out with food and Lisa uses whatbadgerseat.com to find out what kind of food. For years there was a real website with a Simpsons theme that actually listed what badgers actually eat.

My last name being Terzo I was called Tarzan since it sounded close. One girl called me Domino because I'm Italian and dominos pizza and pizza is Italian so yea. Sedia just comes from what my uncle used to call my mom and she originally made my psn account before I got home from school. So yea that's a little of my nicknames.

My name is obviously my name backwards. I was signed up as Ch11chcftzp for the model and registration numbers of an airplane I used to own, but having the two signup names caused some confusion so lobbanmike it is. With a few Mikes out there, Lobban is the best thing to call me.

Aeroliteflite was the wanker that got me involved in Snail last August, glad he did.

First impressions of Project cars for PC:
I have only played single person so far

Graphics-amazing
Physics- very real
Controls-in game support for my G-27
Sound- amazing
Tuning- everything you could want.
Cars- tons of them and you don't need to win anything to use any of them
Tracks-again, tons of tracks, a few will be familiar to most of us,but a lot of variety

Like any new game,(sim), there will be a learning curve, I tried to drive the old lotus open wheel and wow, what a handfull, you want to have a delicate touch on the gas pedal or you will be around.
I also drove a cleo and had a blast throwing that car around. The shifter kart was not as fun as gt6's, but I only messed with it for a few minutes. I did a lap on Spa and I certainly recognized the track, they have posts up on the chicanes to keep you honest. The track felt a little more real than GT, visuals were better, but when you are racing you don't have time to look at the scenery. The car and track details are amazing in their detail. Smoke and rain look and feel real on track unlike GT where rain feels and looks more like fog.

So far, I am very impressed with the game, but I think it will take a while to get some decent leagues out there, so I will stick with GT for my online stuff and just run single player for a while on Pro cars. I will dable with the online stuff to familiarize myself with the process, but until I can find a league like Snail, I am staying put.

Soooo, I highly recommend Project Cars on PC. I would imagine the console versions will be just as pretty on the new platforms. Another 59 bucks well spent. 👍👍..

My name is fairly boring: My first name, and an animal that means a lot to me/represents important things.
Interstingly enough, Connor means "Wolf Lover", and I didn't know that for a lonnnnng time.

Before this I used TKD-Wolf, TKD being TaeKwonDo. But I haven't been in practice for years so I dropped that several years ago.

@Rednose , I'm calling you Rudy forever now. (no, just kidding :) )

You do that and I will put you on my PSN block list and ignore your posts :irked:

Awesome idea! I've always wondered about the origin of @USERID_77a23 :odd:

My guess would be something asked him for a user ID and thats what it was lol

Pretty much lol.. not much imagination went into this name. PSN asked for a name and the example was USERID_12a34 or something similar. 7 and 23 have always been good numbers for me, so I "personalised" the example a bit. I run number 56 as that's my parents birth year.

Capecod as you can see is a location which has been my lifelong home. I made this name many many years ago on xbox and simply transferred it over to PS. The 104 was my old house number.

SGETI my GTplanet name is a bit more interesting. Growing up in a neighborhood full of kids we always had something to do. No computers, no iphones, no electronics, we played outside, swimming, rode bikes, baseball, football, you get the idea. We also played a lot of street hockey. All day, every day. Heck we even had fake contracts. Lived in Bruins country. Bobby Orr and two Stanely Cups. Life was good as a 10 year old.
On more than one occasion I would eat over my friends Mike's house. His mother was Italian and so am I. She made some of the best spaghetti sauce I have ever had. I remember breaking bread and standing next to the stove dipping that bread in the sauce over and over again. It seems every time she made sauce I was there. Soon she began to call me spaghetti in her memorable thick Italian accent and over time was shortened to sgeti.
The name stuck. Became my nickname for life. As a matter of fact, my grand kids call me sgeti. I never felt like a papa, granddad, nonu, you get the idea.

Rofl,I was going to ask you about that!I was really curious about "what badger's eat",So I looked it up,
  1. "The diet of the Eurasian badger consists largely of earthworms, insects, grubs, and the eggs and young of ground-nesting birds. They also eat small mammals, amphibians, reptiles and birds, as well as roots and fruit."Now we know the rest of the story!'

Vs. is the abbreviation of Versus. The fit comes from what I do for a living. I'm a athletic trainer specializing in traumatic sports injury rehab. The Vs. is a program I started that brings the medical and fitness communities together to develop programs and outreach services such as volunteer athletic trainers, injury prevention, coaching clinics on concussions, on-site concussion recognition and response staffing, physical therapy services....It's basically the athlete Vs. the injury and getting a team in place to make sure they have the best medical and rehab services available, regardless of cost.
