Question about Project Cars: Is there a "racing line" added on the tracks like the one in GT? One of things that annoys me the most about GT is that Polyphony adds extra grip on the track onto that "racing line." Spa is probably the best example of it.

It just takes a lot of creativity out of the act of driving in the game because that line never changes and the rest of the track surface comes nowhere close to the grip on that predetermined line.

Have you raced against me? ... Then the name is self-explanatory … It’s the only on-line name I've ever had and Gran Turismo is the only on-line video came I’ve ever played. The first time my buddy at work showed me the side by side real vs virtual tracks I was hooked. Went out and bought a PS3 and have been playing every day since. I helped that same buddy setup SOFA, some of you may have heard of the league, I know a few have raced it. Then on to Tuner’s Pit, back to SOFA which is now a derelict website and now SNAIL … by far the best league there is.

Blixem is a variation of the actual word Bliksem as it is spelled in my mother tongue. It is one of those wonderful words with many many different meanings depending on how you use it. In it's purest form it simply means "lightning"

"I will blixem you" means you are going to beat someone up real bad. "You're a blixem" can either mean admiration or indicate the person is sneaky, just depends on tone of voice. When you bump your toe you can shout "blixem!!" to express the pain. "My good blixem" expresses your surprise with a situation.

I've seen cars with the number 39 on them and just want to say that!
That's been my number since I began, best you pick an unused number to differentiate you, also easier to find yourself in photos.

More important then myself is @TEX36 ,who has as many years in SNAIL AS I and he runs white with blue wheels and number 36!
It's a very long tradition in his family and we should all respect that!

Only 2 digit numbers to choose from with over 100 racers signed up, repeat numbers are going to happen

The BC part of my PSN ID came to be because of the province I live in, and the 'Boyzz' part came from the 'gangsta' 13 y/o I once was

As for my GTP username, it's just my name and where I'm from. I run the #66 on my cars as kind of a salute to my dads successful amateur career in racing. If it worked for him it should work for me right?

yes

Next time I am in town I will take that challenge.
I'll be looking forward to it

and keeping with the topic of today. Blueninjacivic came about because my favorite color is blue, my RL nickname is Ninja(i hold 2 different black belts) and in 2005 when i made this name for a local car forum i drove a civic. My main account PSN has always been around before gaming as well. People would always reference my name to a rapper Devin the Dude so now im known as Devintheninja. cool story bro:tup:

i am interested in joining snail racing.

@Deal24

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @Dragonwhisky, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Don't really care I know that's all that matters I worked fifteen hours today so my bad. and you must not looked at all or your just saying it to be A BILLY BAD BUTT HAHA LMAO because its on there

We know you don't care, but if you want to post something on a forum for other people to read, post it in a fashion that allows them to.......well......read it. We don't want to go down this road again. I don't really understand why some of your posts are worse than WW2 encryption. Because you worked fifteen hours, you suddenly forgot how to put a proper sentence together. Come on now.

And now for the lamest user name of them all! rkzjb04. When I first signed up for PlayStation Network in '04 (hence the 04 part) I was only trying to come up with a simple yet unique name for the whole family to use. So the letters stand for Rob, Kim, Zack, Jake [& last name] Brown. There was an addition to my family in 2006 - his name is Blake so the name works either way you look at it for all of us. If I knew back then what I know today, I would probably have made a username like pROBlem or Pro_Falactic. Ha-ha. My car number is 66 for the year I was born.
Oh and Tom, I remember my best friend and I calling each other "mang" after that Al Pacino movie! How could you not?

The exosphere (Ancient Greek: ἔξω éxō "outside, external, beyond" (Sometimes bordering the lunatic fringe)

The name was first used for my music project some years ago. I have always used it for all things online. The 64 is for my birth year and hence my racing number as well...

Once there was a Simpsons episode where a badger had taken up residence in the family doghouse. After several failed attempts to remove it, the family decided to try to lure it out with food and Lisa uses whatbadgerseat.com to find out what kind of food. For years there was a real website with a Simpsons theme that actually listed what badgers actually eat.

When I first saw this years ago, I always saw "What Badger Seat"... Still cracks me up!
