Basically you have a few teams. Each team (no matter how many members) has one "mouse", then everybody else on the team are "cats". The goal is to get your teams mouse to the end of the race before the other teams can. Full contact. Typically the only rule is to not drive the wrong way on track.

Oh... Mice are generally small low horsepower cars whereas cats are moderately powered cars. Sometimes if there are enough people there will be one "tomcat" which has no loyalties and can mess with or aid anybody he wants in a no limit car of his choice
That sounds like lots of fun! :D:dunce:

Can the mice hit other mice?

Lessen summed it up nicely. The game is immensely fun, especially with a few big teams. I'm sure @Handlebar and a few others will be interested as well. Anyone interested, how's 8, 830pm EST sound?
Handle's off exploring the world still if memory serves me correct, but sign me up! Hopefully we can get a large number of guys out and make it interesting!

I don't think anyone is free anyways. Everyone is probably busy with work. Just going to run some laps. :D
Yea, weekdays are usually slow online until after 4pm EST. I think the majority of us are on the west coast or in the middle of the country (US and Canada), so evening is the general time to see the most activity. Yes, we have drivers from other countries but they're morning hours are our evening hours so it doesn't sync up well.

I saw his pics from Spain and he mentioned doing a "track walk" of Circuito de Madrid. @Handlebar are you just off on a family vacation or did something else bring you to Europe?

The SNAIL Member Map in my sig will give you an idea of where our members are spread out. For all of our new members, if you haven't added yourself yet, click on the link in my sig and get yourself on there! I'll update the results from it this weekend.

I took this as an opportunity to help contribute to the already very friendly Monday Night Miata club and see if I could find a better car. I just stretched to the the Toyobaru because some people (who shall remain nameless) don't like it that much. If I'm stepping on any toes @Nail-27 please let me know and I'll cease and desist. :gtpflag:
The press is good...but lets take the Monday Night convo to our own thread...

PS no friggin changes other than we will run two cars every night with two races each and one will be the Miata. Go to our thread to find out what the second car will be every Monday night ( I'll also post it on the Main SNAIL Thread in the Monday Announcement.)

If you guys keep this up we will have to run Three rooms...:crazy:

Monday night thread. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/◆-snail-pack-racing-boost-racing-where-the-excitement-never-ends.317740/unread

Mondello Park trackday coming up on Friday so I upgraded the front brakes. I know they'll only slow me down but I'm looking forward to seeing how these babies perform!

Mondello Park...now that brings back a memory of the Two day trip from RAF Alconbury with SWMBO to Ireland....where we "just happened" to trip over Mondello Park...and there " just happened" to be a race meeting going on. (that stupid attempt to turn her sight seeing into easing my racing addiction cost me a lot of Waterford Crystal that she "just happened" to buy. NEVER tried that again. Way too expensive)

For some reason I recall watching a video of it getting rolled. I may be wrong, but if not, how's the rebuild coming?

It's going well. Engine and tranny were taken out and gone through. Everything looks good internally. The major "dents" were banged out some, not that it really matters. We have better suspension and a BBK on its way. Picked up some cheap Mustang rims (17x8) and will use spacers to convert from the obscure 5x108 pattern to a 5x114.3. Going to get some much better tires too, 235/40(45) - Hankook R-S3 or something similar.

Next race is at Limerock on August 21st and 22nd.

Nice! Is it a double 7 hour?

I just rolled in from the airport, used to +5/+6 hour time change, so I'm a bit punchy.

Looks like Stewards need some quick reviews, so I'll download and finish those while I'm still awake.

@Rallywagon @Lessen @Die_Birdy_Die

I am down with Cat & Mouse tonight, but I'm likely to be a little sleepy. I haven't set up my Turtle Beach yet - I'll work on that (I'll try....) after reviews are done.

@DesertPenguin09

Travel is for fun, internationally, though my lovely wife is trying to figure out how to finagle some track days in Europe with rentals/borrowed cars through her office and work contacts. I married an excellent woman.
