Who is watching NASCAR this weekend? I'm totally watching because of this car lol

Without knowing who's who, I might be interested in this race only because it's a road race and I just checked the car specs. NASCAR is just under 1500kg without driver so a little over 1500kg with driver and they have 725HP now. That's lighter than Australian V8 Supercars which I wasn't expecting. They should be fast around Watkins Glen.

Well, I figured since you posted a pic or two you might have a replay of one or more of the current combos brntguy could use for his efforts.
Ok my pics were from an unofficial practice so ill review to see if there were any shananagins going on then up load it if worthy

Edit: done and done : the 2 new combos are uploaded. About 12 or 13 on track on each combo. This was a mixed room with most all divisions accounted for (and behaving well for the most part:) )

I'm betting @TomMang_68 and @singlepaddy have some replays you could use.

How bout it gents? Help brntguy out with some replay upload goodness. Upload 'em to the root public folder and he can download them from there.

As a matter of fact, I think I'll make a special folder there just for that purpose.

Stand by to stand by.

Edit; Someone please tell me what that link takes you to. Thanks.
I would like to help out but all I have is an iPad tablet and for some reason I can only get photos on a USB. For some reason it won't recognize video from the USB stick. My computer skills are pretty much non existent so I don't know. :boggled:

In this particular case, you don't need "video". Just need the replay files zipped and uploaded somewhere where others, in this case brntguy, can get them downloaded, unzipped and transferred to his PS3 so he can make the video from them with the equipment he has. Not to worry singlepaddy. Think he has some races to work with now. Thanks though.

ohoo, @jnmjeeper , 👍 amazing stuff, enjoy and rock that bus lool, just wondering what car I see on the left of the 1st picture
cheers

It looks like a 1/2 ton pickup. Possibly a chev

Winner winner chicken dinner. 1/2 ton Chevy Silverado.

Needs a GT-wing and -20 deg negative camber...oh and a neon light kit.

A wing, huh? Now that would make it look really fast! I figured on some led lighting around the awning when it's pulled out.

Pretty cool ride... I assume your gonna do some travelling!!
Mostly just around Michigan, and probably once a year to Cedar Point in Ohio. I spend a couple weeks each year at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. With this I can haul my Jeep on the trailer and stay in the bus. The guy that built it took it to a lot of races, so I may look at taking it to Michigan International Speedway as well. And then there's Belle Isle... who knows where we'll end up.

Us MI SNAIL guys should do some autocross weekend camping trips. And all meet up for the two rally america events. My wife and I bought a.camper just for that sort of thing. Not Sure if your into that sor of thing Jeeper, bit we have a camp site reserved for the Ren Fest in Holly in Sept.
Anyway, wahat ever the event, it would be cool to meet up with a bunch of snails for some brew and some tales. And maybe an autocross....

Session 1 - wet, rainy, I am doing my ice skating routine. Instructor thinks I have possibly heat cycled my tires too many times. Slickery, but instructive.

Session 2, warm, dry, and a few cases of full throttle rawr, baby!

Session 3, starts great, hauling tail down the main straight, then my instructor goes, "OK, we are going to heel-toe everything starting at this corner up here...." :nervous: :nervous: :dunce: :( :banghead: And a few helpings of :scared:.

After the first session of that, I was... Energized? Terrified? Intrigued? And, faster? When it worked, it was awesome. When it didn't, it resulted in way too much excitement in a few corners.

Two more days! My daughter is coming tomorrow to help run Autocross at the other track.

To bed, and more fun tomorrow.

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I truly enjoy reading about what you and everyone else who races or hpde's or auto crosses are up to. I read and think, maybe, just maybe, one day i'll have something like this to post. Until then keep it coming and Godspeed, be safe and keep the rubber side down.
👍
