Regarding today's conversation about decals, shirts, and other swag.. I appreciate the enthusiasm and interest, but I do plan on figuring out a fair way to get this stuff to those who want it. Right now, the priority is to get it to the members who helped us sponsor Nick McMillen after he won GT Academy (if you watch the beginning of the video on the first post of this thread, you'll notice a small SNAIL decal on the chin of his helmet). As it turns out, sponsoring a race car driver isn't cheap, but we were able to do so with the generosity of several of our members.

All that being said, the amount donated by everyone didn't cover the cost of the sponsorship, especially since a few who committed to be sponsors never actually sent any money. Please don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining. I'm just pointing out that this shortfall came out of my own pocket. I've also covered the cost of all the shirts that have been made and shipped out over the years. Most of you know that we've sent SNAIL shirts to all our GT Academy finalists every year, but I also used to ship shirts to all the division winners at the end of each monthly season.

Needless to say, the costs mentioned above, along with other expenses (decals, graphic design work, registering domains, etc) have added up. All in all, I've spent well over a thousand dollars (probably closer to two) trying to promote SNAIL. Again, I'm not complaining. These were all decions I made on my own, and I don't regret any of them. However, I do fancy the idea that if anyone were to ever "sell" SNAIL swag, that perhaps it might be me? That I might potentially use any profit to help lessen the financial burden of promoting the league? That I could possibly reimburse others who have also spent their own money helping to promote the league (e.g. paying back @Dragonwhisky for the gas he used driving to Tennessee for the national finals).

Anyways, sorry for rambling. This may all be a pipe dream, but just wanted to throw it out there. Again, I really do appreciate the passion that you guys have for SNAIL, and that you want to share that passion with others. It means a lot to me. I have to get up early in the morning, so I'll end it there. Good night.

And we appreciate everything you guys do for SNAIL!

@Falango

@brntguy videos for you in your folder

As a reference point, have a look at the pictures @Rednose58 has posted for banner pics. Framing, composition, and simplicity are what will work for banners. Have a look at previous banner pics too. Crashes won't likely end up in the banners. In some of your pictures, the cars are not framed or placed in the important parts of the image, the scenery is, so that's where the eyes go. Posted it before, and here it is again, rule of thirds! If the subject is on one of the intersections of these lines, you're setting yourself up for a good image.

Without a doubt, I appreciate all of the images being posted! For the banners, I want to see your best :D

Also, rather than edit posts just saying "it didn't work", edit it so it does work. There is a preview post button so you can see if what you're trying to do actually shows up. Let's use it!

If I may be so blunt Zer0, crap or get off the can man! We want swag! Forget about that personal and professional life. Let the SNAIL consume you.
In all seriousness though, you appear to have at least two people willing to vendor for you, perhaps delegating the marketplace would be beneficial. Then create a SNAIL bank account where moneys earned to go to making more thing and to sponsorship. It sounds like the ones looking to invest in setting up something only want cost returns. But, actually, it sounds like there is a message train already in the works.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I'm not after the perfect shot. I'm after what interests me! The shot of kg spun showing his front end and my back end looks amazing to me! If they can't be used for your purposes I apologize for wasting your time with them.

As for my double post if I could have gotten it to do what I wanted it to do I wouldn't have double posted! I tried deleting everything and redoing doing it. As I had both thumbnails and full images showing up. But it kept showing up as both so I discarded the first post and started over again!

@zer05ive you could also think about setting up a Patreon or gofundme site. People could contribute to it one time or even monthly.

I enjoy making music on my own with a loop pedal. It's a lot of fun and in minutes I can have a full band jamming on a groove. But how can I share it with you guys?!

Has anyone thought of creating an edited replay with best moments of a night race per division?
If it has been discussed or created with no success - sorry I'm new and just wanted to bring it up.

Maybe this would encourage US to be better drivers in the track.

Thoughts?
thx

@brntguy here's an idea for you possibly

@Adramike , I located my driving force pro pedals and have found that both pedals are spiking pretty bad. I will take them apart and try cleaning the pots, but you may want to discuss another option with someone else who offered just in case I can't get them working.
