I'm testing the 670deg setting for the G27. I'd be very interested to hear what our D1 drivers use and what they prefer as far as settings.

I've always been of the opinion that more range is better, but I find I turn in too late for many corners.
I personally use 270°, but mostly because a kart limits turning at 90°, so it's the closest preset for me.

I use 420° steering, or whatever the square button is on the G27. Mimics the drivers hands in-game, and feels like I'm actually turning the car when I go to do so. Of course some cars require different steering settings, but that's my general settings 👍

D6 duties filled and ready to go. I got replays for the rest of the season.

@Dragonwhisky I have a question for uploading the replays to the D6 folder, do i upload them from now on to the public folder for D6 or Just the D6 folder itself?

Just out of curiosity what do you guys have your steering sensitivity set at then?

You use 270 for every car?
Yep.
Does the G27 not have a smaller option? As a karting fan this will be important for me in deciding on a wheel
As you quoted my post, I'm guessing you think I have a G27 but I don't, I have DFGT. Sorry for the confusion. However my opinion in the game physics is after you turn to the max (where the tyres start smoking) I think the wheel in-game doesn't turn anymore, I'm not sure if it's just a graphical issue or it actually stops no matter how much you turn. So far my tyres smoke at around 125°, with every car.

I use 900° on both the DFGT and G27 (Drifting or Grip racing).

Thanks for clarification. I'm glad this was brought up because now I have another very significant aspect to consider in choosing a wheel. I thought I was decided... Now not so much.

I'm no D1 driver, however I use the 670 setting for pretty much everything. I find it made drifting a lot easier, though for racing I don't think there was any loss or improvement. Just preference at that point.

I tied 670 and it felt pretty good. Then tried 450 and it was a disaster. Went back to 900 and now that even feels horrible. 670 seems the most promising right now.

I used 900 for years till I saw the post instructing how to switch it. Went for the 670 setting for awhile then found I got used to it and was missing the apex again so I switched to 450 and now that's the setting I race every car on

I use the Square - is that the 670? Which one is 450? Not sure I will want to try that on the big cars, but I love the Caterham.

The SNAIL Sunday Score Sheets have been prepared and is ready to go for tonight.

Just a reminder, the details and settings for the combos are on the SNAIL Sunday Combos thread.

The seven at Brands Hatch has to be the most frustrating combo I've had to deal with in a very long time. I can't seem to stay on the line I want in the attempt to use all the track and not lose momentum. The results are catastrophic.
I've done more laps in this combo than any other in the past and still can't complete 7 laps without crashing. I know, you are saying slow down, but I can't go any slower.

You're not the only one. Blue room had 8 people out of 13 who were 40 seconds behind (including me) the top 5 who didn't crash.
