The main problem I saw (and felt) was that the car has so much downforce and power that anything out of the ordinary makes it wiggle and that's that.
Also, once you release the DRS-type thing, the downforce kicks in and the car turns a lot more, which causes a bunch of going out onto the grass on the inside of the corner.

But it's a fun challenge to tame the beast. Racing with 10 others is quite the feeling.
Never thought of that when I asked that question. I did a 48.5 this morning. I think 47s are possible if there's slipstream.

I just put in some more practice, online this time, and my fastest was a 50.6 and I'm running an average of mid to low 51s. :indiff:

Dog damn it, that's fast. Guess you picked a good user name, eh?
I was all happy to be within 1 second of the last time you posted. Guess it's back to the track to find a few more tenths then.

Soon I'll have to change it, "kid" won't be used till the end of my virtual racing career

Really? What's your point? Because, as my girlfriend would be happy to point out, GT6 is unnecessary, this league is unnecessary, video games as a whole are unnecessary. For crying out loud, 90% of North American life is unnecessary.

I don't particularly like the car either, but I accept his choice, and I accept the challenge, and I will try to learn from it.
In my opinion, it is the combos you don't like, the combos you are not good at, the combos that are one you would never pick yourself, the combos that challenge you...those are the ones where you have the most potential to learn (and thus improve).
Bingo!

Not until Nov. 1st.
Thanks for the info! Good thing smartphones nowadays update the time themselves, or I would be clueless  And the F1 qualifying session is on!

Here is some food for thought for a prize A winner:
check out the: "Megane R.S Trophy'11 at Brands Hatch"
it is so much fun and IMO would give you some really great racing!

Thought some of you might enjoy some pics of my soon to be retired portable racing rig. Going to move to the basement and build a permanent one so Momma can have her Thursday and Sunday nights back. Actually she's never complained once ( bless her heart ) ...I just want an excuse to build something better!!! ;)

This marvel of modern caveman engineering is made from hand selected "non metallic" birch plywood and is fastened together with genuine Saskatchewan Seal Skin Bindings!!!
The wheel mount tilts up and down and moves in and out and the centre post moves up and down, allowing for full adjustability. Plus as you can see it folds up for easy storage also.
This bad boy also comes with a full compliment of " go fast " stickers, a set of racing stripes plus wheels and tires for added grip!!

This rig has served me well now for over a year. But now it's time to move on to bigger and better things. Hope you all get a kick out of it.

See you all tonight. :gtpflag:

Due to recent events, I am on a five week suspension and then six week probation. I will see you all on Monday nights for training camp.

Well I'm on another suspension but 5 weeks now. No idea why. Kinda pissed that I didn't find until late this afternoon. C'mon guys at least be on top of it. That's what bugs me. I was planning on racing tonight and didn't even know I was on vote for lcl

Do you keep track of IRs filed against you? Have you not checked the penalties that you incur? 5 week suspension and you don't have the slightest clue why? I find that hard to believe.
