If the key won't turn, it might just be steering lock? Did you try moving the wheel back and forth to see if the key would turn with it in a certain position?

Usually immobilizers just shut off the electrical system. But if it's the immobilizer then I have no idea.

On a GM vehicle, there's the theft-deterrent system that cuts fuel. Engine will crank, but no fire. To reset, you need to turn the key to the on position, wait 12-15 minutes, then try starting. Again, GM vehicle, but it might give you some inspiration for something else to try.

Sigh....

Anybody happen to know if a Honda immobilizer system can be reset without going to a dealership? I tried looking into why my driver side window drops suddenly and it seems once I disconnected the wiring for the door locks it has activated the immobilize system. Key won't even turn.

No. But... we got it figured out. It wasn't the immobilizer, it was just the steering lock safety. I didn't consider that my daughter was "helping" me get the door panel off. I didn't realize she was "driving" when I wasn't around and locked the steering.

We had 2 different drivers win poles tonight. We had 5 different drivers post fastest laps. We had many great battles on track including a train of Z4's.
