The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 '11 (Racing: Medium) at Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit (6 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @JamCar0ne wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - BMW Z4 GT3 '11 (Racing: Hard) at Grand Valley Speedway / Forward (6 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Encvel gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @MarkR420 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Car Selection Guidelines
Dealership Cars - The maximum price for a selected car is now $1,000,000
DLC Cars - Only DLC cars that are FREE and currently still available in the PlayStation Store can be selected.

Track Selection Guidelines
Any non-DLC track can be selected as long as a single lap with the car combo'd with it would not take more than five minutes to complete. For example, don't select anything that includes the Nurburgring's Nordschleife.

We have at least one driver with a racing incident being investigated by the stewards that may change a division winner from one who is not eligible for prizes to a driver that is. This may, obviously, change the order and recipients of the prizes to be selected.
The target deadline for the Steward Reviews, this week, is Wednesday night by 10PM Eastern. The Steward Summary will be posted as soon as possible, following completion of reviews.
:@: SNAIL Stewards, please make your way to The Incident Review Scoring.
The IR Submission Form is now closed.

The prize A winner, @JamCar0ne is cleared to make his selection.

All other prize winners are not clear at this time to make their choices.

Sorry that I've been off the grid. My mother in law fell on early Saturday morning and I've been helping manage emergency room (broken left arm, deep muscle bruise on right leg) and orthopedic visits. She's staying with us for a few days until she can walk and feed herself, etc.

Busy times.

My mother in law fell in her driveway five or six weeks ago, on a Sunday evening, and broke her arm! I had to take her for surgery the following day. Fortunately she's a pretty active lady that was back under her own power after a few days. But I can relate. Here's hoping all goes well with the recovery. You're a good son in law. ;)

Hello, I would like to join the sunday racing event(s).
Please, give me feedback at your earliest convenience.

@moutonguerrier

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

It's time to Slow down and drive:

Prize A

Triumph Spitfire 1500 '74
Cost $17,200
Dealership PP 319
Comfort Medium tires
Post-oil 325 pp @ 73 hp

London (forward)
Mid-division lap times - 1:16

Brave choice @JamCar0ne ! Definitely brings a different type of racing. I just took it for out for a few laps. Smooth driving is key on this guy.

Great pick!

Prize Update

The stewards have completed enough reviews to declare an official D3 winner and confirm this weeks prize winners.

@WIDEeyedDRIVR is the official D3 winner for the night. His adjusted total of 92.15 will slot him into the prize B position ahead of our prize C winner, @Encvel who had an adjusted total of 82.44. Both are clear to make their suggestions.

Encvel has already won both prize B and C this month. WIDEeyedDRIVR will have his choice to freeze half of the BMW at Grand Valley combo or pass the freeze to Encvel which would allow WIDEeyedDRIVR to choose what to replace the unfrozen part of the combo with.

Whichever choice WIDEeyedDRIVR makes will leave Encvel with a prize he already won this month. This means that his prize will be passed on to his division. If he has prize B, his division will make suggestions and he will choose from them for a car or track to be the replacement. If he has pirze C, his division will simply vote to freeze the car or track.

The short version is that WIDEeyedDRIVR is on the clock to choose if he wants prize B or C.

She broke her hip about 4-5 years ago. The next year, she fell and broke he shoulder. Always bounces back and laughs.

She turns 90 in four weeks. She still works three days a week (think a real life version Peggy Carter - this one joined that government agency way back, with the original initials, but would have known a similar person to Peggy Carter). She has a couple of book clubs, gardening clubs, a new boyfriend from the same 'company' as my father in law was in, and is active. She rocks.

On bad days, she ..maybe.. drives me a little crazy, but I would not trade my mother in law for anything.

I would trade mine for a Popsicle :)

Nice pick Jam!
@JLBowler will there be any exceptions on London? I ask because it's the first time it is used.

I pass the freeze to @Encvel

Everyone who raced in D2 this Sunday needs to vote to freeze the BMW or Grand Valley. A simple car or track in a post will do the trick. Only vote once and do not edit you post with the vote in it. The deadline for votes will be 8 PM ET on Wednesday. Voting will be closed if a clear majority is reached before that time.

@Encvel @socalnatv @MikeGrove @nmcp1 @Ricky_Blayz @Kgffy @pakicote @turnupdaheat @DMacs13 @kickenit4evr @IceManFan_7

Freeze the car.

You could have at least waited for the instructions but it is nice to see someone paying attention.

Not a double post as it's a different subject.

There will, most likely, be exceptions to standard track boundaries at London. I will get them researched and posted tomorrow.
