Ok so I am opening the room shortly. Mics will be turned off and so to not be rude to anyone "HI!"

This is about me trying to zone in for 3 hrs straight.

I hope to see a lot of you out there, even if you are on another team and just coming to spy on me :)

It's just a practice room so you can come and go as you please the 1 thing I do ask is if you need to go to the pits drive to them or press the start button (damage is heavy) Please Please don't warp to the pits.

Wow no Joke. I wish FIFA cost 12$ Too

the sounds alone in PCars are probably worth at least the 12$

The sound in the game is freaking fantastic. I was taken aback when I fired it up for the first time.
Have been playing with the controller (so less fun, as I suck with it more than with the wheel) with the sound 50% louder than what I use for GT.
It's so worth the complaints from my better half...

And we will be very grateful to whoever joins and helps out.

SNAIL Endurance Team is about to start its first event and we are super excited for it.
For this first one, we are rolling with

@Sedia3, @goofytyler, @RobbiefromBC, @Jakedog23, and myself will be on the sidelines this time, cheering on our teammates.
There are other SNAILs racing as well

If anyone wants to watch, Part 1 will be here:

We start at 0700 UTC, with Xrad at the wheel.

I bought a Ps4 recently at Target using the following "stack" coupon method.

Create an account on target.com. Then create a registry and add PS4 to it.

Baby registry takes 1 day to get the coupon. Wedding registry takes 3 days. Both coupons are for 15% off.

Then take the registry coupon, cartwheel app, 10% off, and red card to Target.

You need to make sure still works. Was a great deal at the the time. Good luck.
That qualifies for an episode of extreme couponing...

I'm not tech savvy at all. Would that G27 hack work easily for me?
If you have your computer close by to your console and used it, then you should be able get through the process. Nothing is ever as simple as it seems. @nmcp1 has got his up and running now, just click the link in the post he put up yesterday and read how it is done. You will want to go through all the documentation to get an understanding of how it works.
My setup is different because I don't want to use my laptop, so I'm using a Raspberry PI. When the adapter is done it will be about the size of a smart phone. Just having some issues with a component but hopefully will have it resolved soon.
This route is not for everyone, but if I can get away with not having to fork out a few hundred bucks more then I'll give it my best shot!
Btw, the above would work for your DFGT as well.

The steward report has been posted and can be found here. The official results can be found here.

Seven drivers raced their way off probation this week.

A note for everyone as it seemed to be a theme this week. Pay attention to what you're doing when you are re-entering the racing surface or racing line. Have a read of section 13 and 14 of the OLR just to refresh yourselves.

13: Recovering from an incident:

A:
It is the responsibility of the driver recovering from any incident to take all necessary care to not interfere with any cars still on the track and not part of the incident. A relevant incident may include, but is not limited to -
1. Being spun out
2. Facing the wrong way,
3. Perpendicular to the track
4. Going abnormally slow for where you are on the track.
5. Getting penalized for any amount of time by the penalty system
If you are off the track, serving a penalty, or recovering from an incident in which you didn’t leave the track but are significantly slower than the race pace then the rules on "Re-entering to the track after running off" apply.

14: Re-entering to the track after running off:

A:
It is the responsibility of the car returning to the track to ensure there are no collisions so that no other drivers have to maneuver or brake suddenly to allow you to resume racing. If there's a chance of a collision, wait and be patient as other drivers have the right of way.

B:
An off track incident includes but is not limited to:
1. Being stuck or pinned to a wall or railing.
2. More than two tires leaving the track at any one time
3. Any situation where the car may lose control and create cross traffic

C:
Do not reverse back onto the track unless it is necessary. If you are backing up away from a wall first look around you to avoid a collision and as the collision would be your fault.

D:
Re-enter the track parallel to the road, slowly and gently, and always with great care. This gives you the best opportunity to see what’s coming up the track behind you, and it also gives drivers coming up on you the best chance to orientate themselves to your situation.

E: When re-entering the track, you must take all available measures to not affect any other driver on the track. If this means you have to come to a complete stop on the side of the track and wait for the track to be clear, then that is what you must do.

I would love to join, please send me more instructions

@Timdct

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL
